TWO MONTHS LATER

"Up on the top right!!!!!!"

My head angles swiftly to meet the piercing glare of a demon lunging down from the high beams, before gathering momentum and sliced it's neck. The heavy thud of it's body hits the floor, before another eery presence comes from another direction. My blade swiftly cuts through the napes of each demon that ambushes me, while also monitoring Kaito's skills. Even trying to not let myself take away his chances, in proving me his techniques. 

The sound of their bodies dropping one by one, as my blade runs through their thick necks with much ease than it used to be.

"Secure the perimeter," I apprise, before continuing to run further into the old castle. The stench of rotten corpses burns my nose, the further I charge through. 

"Right!!!!"

Sensing the demonic presence getting much closer than before, I pick up the pace faster hearing children crying. With last deep inhale, I exhale bursting in immense speed before finally barricading myself through the thin paper walls. Splinters scatter everywhere as my eyes caught sight of the large demon, with four eyes with a body like an oni. It's body was rather muscular, but it's head was rather odd for such a big physique. It's eyes widen in horror when it noticed me, not really knowing what he's signed himself up for.

"Get your filthy hands from those children......" My voice dangerously growls, before I catch myself disappearing from my spot. Within seconds I reappear right behind him stealthy causing the demon to falter in his movements, as my blade swung around directly towards the adams apple of the beast. 

However the Demon managed to deflect my attack, before finding my body flying high up.

My eyes widen as they met the demons again, but this time he pushes from the roof above and charges directly towards me. Finding it difficult to deflect the attack in midair, my body slammed into the old rotten timber with a heavy crash. Though it barely damaged me, the punch did knock the air from my lungs forcefully. The children scream in fright from the sudden attack, immediately pushing myself onto my feet and steered the fight away from the children.

"Such a beautiful magnificent human.....with beautiful eyes filled with fire and skin so delicious and appetising......" The Demon growls, with a sadistic smile. It's tongue slithers out from it's sharp maws, teeth yellow and eyes sinister as it could be. "......too bad you'll be laying the pool of your blood--"

Without hesitating my blade sliced his arms off, before emitting a heavy aura around me as my eyes dangerously glower upon him.

"Shit! A real Hashira!!!!!!!" The demon cries out, before his head slowly falls from my last whisk attack that struck him without him knowing. The head hits the ground with a thud, before the body drops following suit as he lays in the puddle of his own blood. Slowly he disintegrates into thin air, cursing me as every other demons do before dying at my hand.

Taking a moment to collect myself, I clean my blade with a swipe and guided the blunt side with my thumb back into it's scabbard.

".....m-miss......."

Turning to the children I make my way over and bend down to their height, placing a gentle tender hand upon their heads. 

"You three.........I'm so sorry we're late......." I apologise softly, as my demeanour completely changes knowing the area doesn't hold any malice. "You three girls were very brave, huh? You stood up against the bad man, hmm? It's okay now.........we've got you."
