"I sense it.........."

Running down the thick growth of trees of the mountain, my head and heart remain steady when realising they could be in danger. The wind pounds against my ears, along with the cold nipping at my flushed cheeks from the blood running through my veins. Closing my eyes, taking in all surroundings I used my sensory ability to locate the precise area they're headed. My breath hitches slightly when locking onto a demonic aura, before a bloodcurdling cry follows further down the mountain.

Alright, Total concentration breathing...........

Inhaling slowly gathering in the oxygen, my endurance began to increase the further I run down the steep mountain. Finally after under a minute of what it seems, I saw three large fish charging head on towards Kohana while another grabbed Taiga. My eyes narrow further excelling in my breathing, causing a thundering stir across the trees, before drawing my blade. Blood pounded against my ears in that moment when my eyes soon saw the other fish grab Kohana, ripping her away from reaching Taiga.

"Taiga!!!!"

"Mama!!!!!!!!"

I inhale deeply, "Dragon breathing Third form: Dragons eye slash!" whispering beneath my breath; locking each vase and sliced each one within seconds. Many more fish began making their way towards the two, along with villagers trying to make their escape. Swiftly making my way towards the many fish that kept coming and coming, they surrounded me all at once like a pack of wolves against a deer. Pushing high into the air while glancing down to see how many beneath me there were, I rush back down towards them.

"Dragon breathing Eighth form: Raging Waterfall!!!!!!"

With the mobility in my right limb, I began to severe all vases simultaneously. I came down like a crashing wave over them, feeling my body slightly edging to exhaustion. My slices filled with ferocity and refinement, it felt like dragon is slowly becoming one with me. Shattering all vases together with blood splattering in all directions, all bodies began to disintegrate into nothing but corpses.

Landing lightly on my feet with a slight stagger to my leg leg, I swipe my blade clean from blood while assessing the area. Seems the fish demons have calmed down, judging by the many I've killed just now. Turning to see all villagers staring at me, I soon lock onto Kohana. Her hand rests on her swollen belly, while holding her unconscious son. Rushing over there without uttering a word, I could see her trying to wake him.

"Please Taiga.........please......?" She pleads, her voice breaking.

My hand cups the back of his head only to feel something wet and warm, as I lift my hand to find blood staining my fingertips. Taking his mask off knowing it was against the rules, I tore his sleeve and wrapped it around his temple to prevent blood loss, "He's probably got concussion......" I assure her; while placing my fingers near his mouth and nose. ".........he's breathing fine, but give him time. If it's from the fall, then he'll be alright....."

Kohana was shaken up herself being emotionally unstable, due to her hormonal changes in her body and the events that took place. Blood draws from under her cracked mask, as my hand cradles her head tenderly. Resting my temple against her own, I whisper soft words to calm Kohana as much as possible.

"ITs alright.......your alright," I murmur soft, whilst breathing heavily. "Both your son and your baby is alright........"

She whimpers softly, "H-How do you do this everyday?"

With a wry smile I lift my head, "Its scary......I know," I reply, honestly. "I just have ignore my feelings, and fears........so other people can live."
