AT THE WIND ESTATE

"Glad you here with me......"

Sanemi's face was buried in my shoulder, while we were in his room alone together in comfortable silence. After the meeting Sanemi wanted time with me, so I gave a quick message to Kaito that I will see him tomorrow instead via through Nami my crow. Sanemi's arms circled around me, carefully holding me close while we stayed like this. The amount of relief finally being in his arms again, made tears well up threatening to spill. I craved his warmth again, desiring him more and more.

"It all happened so fast," I mutter softly; my fingers rake through his shaggy silvery locks. His lips pressing against my throat, and nestles there, "I was about to leave the village, then the ambush happened all at once. Tanjiro and Nezuko were in danger, Muichiro fighting an Upper Moon on his own, villagers dying from of the demon arts minions or whatever they were........my swordsmiths wife and son almost died. She was.......was with child......"

"Everyone's safe now......." He murmurs against my neck, and kisses my neck again. ".......I came to see you, but you were unconscious. You wouldn't wake up, and Lady Kocho was concerned about the wounds you sustained. Your flesh was burned so close to your heart, and you over used your breathing techniques........your lungs must be sore."

He was right. I held the whole swordsmith village on my shoulders, but so did Muichiro and Mitsuri as well and the young kids. I only stalled the demons for how ever long I can, and tried saving as many people I could as a Hashira.......yet....

"I never got my mark like Mitsuri and Muichiro," I mention; with a heavy gravitating sigh. "How am I a hashira, if I can't kill an Upper Moon?"

He shook his head and lifted his eyes, "Don't. You managed to save the village........that's something worth being proud of," He assures me, with a firm and caring tone. "You just.....scared me so fucking much. I haven't seen you this bad since.......well...."

Realising what he meant, I held him close to me recalling that painfully gruelling few weeks being bed ridden. Losing my big brother Ryuji, and falling at the hands of our father whom is the new Kizuki under Muzan.

Warm lips soothe my neck feeling the tenderness by this action, leaning into him. He kisses my sore shoulder where I was impaled, before kissing the few wounds I managed to sustain. Even without words he makes me feel comforted, and at peace. His breath grew heavier with anger, to every wound he sees on my body. Even having my body being electrocuted a few times, I'm surprised I could still stand and walk. Even having a taste of the Upper Moon's power, it made me realise that Kuragari was stronger than those two, being Upper Moon four.

"So good to have you in my arms......." He murmurs against my flesh; pushing me down carefully onto the futon with him hovering above. His eyes gazing down into my own with a possessive glint, "..........may I kiss every wound on your body?" his hand glides up my thigh and down, caressing it with tenderness.

My cheeks flush in response, "You may....."

He unties my Yukata with one hand peeling it away from my body, as my body was soon exposed to him. His eyes looked at me like he was frustrated by the state I was in, with bruises and blemishes discolouring my skin. He leans down brushing my bangs from my temple, planting a tender kiss to the patch that clung to my wound. He traces down my brow, to my cheek to beneath my jaw with a purpose in his touch and affection. His large calloused hands caresses the planes of my tainted body of scars, as he memorised every old and new scar that was added. One hand rubs my lower pudgy tummy, while the other supported his body above me strongly.
