AN: Welcome to another chapter of Sweet Dreams (Are Made of This). I hope you loved the last chapter, and Mark as chief for the day! I really enjoyed writing that chapter, and I hope that you guys loved it as much as I did.
We only have five chapters left of this book....I can't believe it. Then onto book two! It's been such a wild and amazing time.

When you're a kid, you always want things to stay the same ... The same teacher, same house, same friends. Being a surgeon is no different. You get used to the same attendings, same scrub nurses, same hospital.

Cristina was walking through the airport, texting Eddie that she landed, she also said that she was going to take a taxi home, refusing to have her heavily pregnant best friend drive to get her and bring her back. She would go with their other best friend, Meredith, but she didn't know if her flight landed yet either.
It was now the time of year that all fifth year residents were taking time to interview for possible fellowships all over the United States. Even if they were all but accepted into the program at Seattle Grace-Mercy West, like Eddie, Jackson, and Alex. It was part of the deal, because nothing is final until it is final. The only person not traveling was Eddie, unless it was local, because she couldn't fly, well, it was not recommended, she still had a few weeks before she could safely pop those twins out, at the earliest and safest for her two nephews. But, that didn't mean that hospitals were trying to court Eddie. Almost every prestigious hospital in the United States, and a few international ones, were trying to get her to choose their programs.
But, Eddie had her heart set on staying at Seattle Grace, because the top mentors are here, yes, there are other amazing programs, but it was usually just one amazing program and the other two are subpar, or they would not let her even attempt three specialties at the same time. Ever since her fourth year, she had basically be defacto specializing in all three, and proved she could do it. But, she had multiple video interviews or dinners with reps, but Seattle Grace, had the most competitive offer.
Cristina, was so lost in her texting, and the airport was so busy she didn't even notice Meredith, though Meredith had exited her terminal just moments prior, and Cristina was already ahead of her a few good feet.
