Cristina looked at him as if he was crazy. This was a baby, it wasn't a compromise. He knew that she didn't want kids and surprise, surprise, when she did end up accidentally getting pregnant, she didn't want it. She felt no maternal pull or love for it. She didn't want it. She wouldn't love it in the way it needed. Cristina wouldn't magically wake up wanting to be a mommy. No, she would resent the baby. And, she saw what resentment of a baby, a child did. Ellis Grey resented Meredith and ended up being cold and cruel. Or what about Constance Elliot? That women psychologically abused Eddie for years.
