Callie POV
Callie stepped in front of the mirror. Her eyes were barely open. Her hair was a mess, having just woken up.
She turned on the cold water of the sink, bracing herself for the part she hated as she cupped the water in her hand before splashing it on her face, causing her eyes to go wide.
Callie: Brr! That'll wake you up good.
She said to herself in the mirror, briefly tidying up her appearance before going back to her room and changing her clothes to something more flexible.
Afterward, she made sure to knock on Marie's door.
Callie: Marie, don't stay in bed all day!
Marie: Ugh...
Marie groaned from her room with no greater reaction as Callie walked away from her cousin's room and to the front door where she put on a pair of running shoes and made her way out to the street.
Callie stretched in front of her apartment building a bit before basking in the morning air as the sun was only just creeping up over the horizon, letting the sun's golden rays stretch across the early morning sky.
Callie: Ah, beautiful... Well, time to get to it!
She said as she put in her earbuds and turned on her music playlist and began her morning run around the area.
~~~
Callie walked back into her apartment where the clear, blue morning sky was plainly visible from the windows she opened.
She made her way back to the bathroom where she washed herself clean after her run. Once finished, she was deciding between two different outfits, trying to figure out which one complemented her appearance more before deciding on one of them.
After she got dressed, she heard Marie call her over for breakfast, which Callie rushed over to.
She and Marie had a fun time chatting over breakfast Marie had cooked as they typically did every morning.
Once done eating, Callie then went back to her room where she did her hair up nicely and put her makeup on exceptionally well, doing her best to make herself look pretty while also attempting to look like she wasn't putting in too much effort to how she looked.
Callie: Ooh, look at you~.
She said to herself in the mirror before giggling.
Callie: Perfect! I'm ready.
She said before picking up her phone, scrolling through her contacts for the number she was looking for, and hitting the call button.
Callie spun around in her chair while waiting for an answer for a few moments before hearing the other side of the call pick up.
(Y/N): Yo, Callie, what's happening?
Callie: Oh, nothing much. I just got up really.
She said casually, downplaying her morning routine.
Callie: I was wondering if you were free today.
(Y/N): Yeah, actually. Why? Do you have something you want to do today?
Callie: Mmm, not really. Just wanted to see your face and find something to do together this morning before I have to go to work this afternoon. Sound good?
(Y/N): Sure, sounds nice.
Callie: Great! Meet me at this cafe. I'll send you the address.
(Y/N): Okay, see ya there.
