He watched as the boy left, leaving the four others behind where they stood.
Mrs. Hohojiro: As we said, my husband and I have decided to approve of our daughter's relationship with you, (Y/N).
Mr.s Hohojiro said with a smile as her daughter, Shiver, walked up back beside the boy he believed to be (Y/N), latching onto his arm with a smile.
He was shocked to be overhearing such a situation, and while he knows he shouldn't, he couldn't help but take a picture of the situation unfolding in front of him.
(Y/N) bowed to Mr. and Mrs. Hohojiro.
(Y/N): Thank you for your approval!
The boy was acting a bit nervous in his reply.
Shiver: If that's all settled, then we'll take our leave, mother, father.
Mrs. Hohojiro: Yes, yes, do go on and enjoy yourselves.
Shiver: Don't I always?
Shiver said with a slight bit of her usual snarkiness which he was used to putting up with all these years, but Mrs. Hohojiro seemed to respect her daughter's words.
Shiver bowed with (Y/N) as she turned to lead herself and her boyfriend out, with him noticing the two whispering to each other as they left.
He then got around to sending the photo to someone else, not meaning any harm in it, but still feeling guilty about it having felt like he intruded on a sensitive subject.
He tried to shake off the feeling by hurriedly getting back to work before his employers, Mr. and Mrs. Hohojiro, caught him slacking off and gossiping instead of working. He was sure neither his seniority of his position, nor his shakuhachi playing would spare him of their wrath.
??? POV
She was practicing her trombone but at the sudden phone notification going off, she messed up the note she was in the middle of.
???: Aw, I was really in the groove right there. Oh well, I'll get back into it. Now, who needs me right now?
She gasped at her own imagination.
???: I wonder if it's that one job getting back to me.
She said while excitedly pulling up her messages just to see that it was not a job request, but instead her father.
???: Oh, just dad. I wonder what he wants right now.
She said while checking her messages.

Dad: Hi honey are you still a big fan of Shiver?

She looked up from her phone screen that had a picture of Shiver as her wallpaper and looked over at her room where she had a ton of Shiver merch, from posters, plushes, shirts, fans, basically everything you could expect.

Me: Sorta, yeah
Dad: Then this is going to blow your socks off
Dad: [picture of Shiver, her parents, and an Inkling boy]
Dad: Shiver brought this boyfriend of hers with her to meet her parents today
Me: WHAAAAA???!?!?!?!? THAT'S SO CRAY CRAY!!1!
