(Y/N) POV

(Y/N) was nervous as the seat he was on repeatedly jumped, throwing him backward and forward as he held onto the handle for support.

Marina: Just ease into the throttle! Don't just pull it all the way back.

(Y/N): That's what I'm trying to do! This motorcycle's throttle is just too sensitive, so when I pull on it just a little like this I- WHOOA!

He cut himself off by jumping forward from the quick acceleration of the bike, throwing him around with the quick momentum shift.

He quickly stopped messing with the throttle and grabbed the brakes, which then threw him forward the other direction.

Marina quickly rushed over to him to make sure he was okay.

(Y/N): I'm fine, Marina...

He said, slouched forward, then sat back upward before she could even ask.

Marina put her hand to her chin as she pondered the situation.

Marina: I really don't understand the issue you're having with all this. My bike's tuned up correctly and everything, well, maybe not as much now with how you keep twisting the accelerator just to immediately slam on the brakes...

(Y/N): You're the one who didn't want to ride on the back "for your own safety".

He said, quoting her earlier statement.

Marina: Yes, but now I'm starting to get more worried for my bike's safety and whether you're going to tear the brake line.

(Y/N): This whole operation here was your idea. If you're that worried, we can just stop and do something else.

Marina pouted with her eyebrows, upset.

Marina: After how I already basically had to drag you to do it this time? No, thank you.

She stated, sure that it would be even harder to attempt this again if she stopped here.

Marina: Seriously, what is your deal with motorcycles? You're so opposed to getting on a motorcycle, but you were happy to learn how to fly a helicopter?

(Y/N): Flying a helicopter is cool... and there's so much room it would be hard to crash into anything in the air. But a motorcycle? It's a lot easier and a lot more common to get into an accident with it.

Marina: (Y/N)... You don't have bones... Even if you did get into an accident, you wouldn't be that hurt.

(Y/N) tapped his index fingers together while looking away with a pout.

(Y/N): It'd be bad for my hearts the sudden scare of flying off a motorcycle...

He said defensively.

(Y/N): Besides, I don't want to damage your ride. Or anything else. I don't have the money for that kind of damage, and I'd feel bad about it too.

Marina: But you wouldn't be worried about the damage crashing a helicopter would do?

(Y/N): If I did, Pearl wouldn't even notice one was missing anyway.

Marina sighed, not able to disagree with his statement.

Marina: You said it was cool to be able to fly a helicopter, but riding a motorcycle is cool too, isn't it? Think of all the action movies where the main character is on a bike and does some cool stunt? Wouldn't that be really cool to see yourself on one like that?

She said, attempting to appeal to his more childish side.

(Y/N): Too cool. I'm a bit of a show-off and would do too much while getting distracted. It'd be hard to stay so cautious instead of wanting to be super oblivious while I try and do a trick when I probably shouldn't do.
