Nico was laughing as he sat on the floor of his cabin, soft plush carpet softening the jagged floor. Hazel, Percy, and Jason sat with him, the four of them sprawled out in a shape somewhat resembling a circle, with snacks and sodas in the middle.

It was originally just Percy and Jason with him, but Hazel showed up for a surprise visit and he was so glad she did. They had cards scattered around them after a heated game of Uno that resulted in Hazel winning after giving Percy three draw fours in a row. Safe to say that's how the cards ended up in the air and the sink in the adjoining bathroom pretty much exploding.

They were all still laughing, the absurd incident only resulting in jokes and more giggles, before Jason made Percy go fix what he'd broken.

"Another round?" Hazel asked with a dangerous glint in her eye.

"Hell yeah!" Percy cheered and plopped back down on the rug after cleaning up his mess, wiping his hands on his knees. "You better bet I'm gonna beat you this time,"

Hazel looked at him with an amused expression and raised an eyebrow. "Really, water boy? You've got a big mouth considering I just wiped the floor with you,"

Percy was just about to quip back before Nico butted in "Oh no," Nico said with a smile as he reached around him to pick up a few stray cards that had landed under his bed. "No way are we playing again after you just broke my plumbing,"

"I just burst a pipe!" Percy defended. "And besides, it's all fixed now,"

"Nico's right," Jason said, helping to collect the cards, then handing them to Nico. "Why don't we just play something else, as Uno is far too much for the both of you,"

Percy groaned dramatically and flopped back, his head hitting the carpet hard enough that Nico winced, but the son of Poseidon didn't seem to mind. He simply crossed his arms over his chest and pouted.

Jason laughed and started stacking the cards on Percy's face, the both of them now trying hard to keep them from sliding off.

"They're right, Perce," Hazel said. "I can always kick your butt another time,"

Percy was too busy trying to balance the cards on his face to talk back, but he hummed to acknowledge it.

"So, what should we play next?" Jason asked, even as his focus was still on keeping the cards balanced on Percy.

Nico tapped his chin and looked through the stack of games they raided the Big House for. There was Monopoly, but considering how Uno went, that might result in more than just a pipe bursting. There was Catan, but that involved more brain power than he had in store at the moment. Clue was an option, but when he looked through the box, some of the cards were missing. Finally, his gaze landed on Life, that one was easy enough and seemed fun. Gods know they won't ever get a normal life, so why not play a game about it?

He managed to get it from the stack and hold it up. "How about this?" he asked. Apparently while he was contemplating, Hazel got in on stacking the cards too and now there were two stacks, one on Percy's face and the other on his forehead. Both were pretty tall.

Percy glanced at him from under the cards. "Ooo, Life, love that one—"

"Percy!" Both Hazel and Jason yelled as the cards they worked so hard to stack, slid to the ground.

"Sorry!" Percy said, but he had sat up and was already reaching for the board game in Nico's hands.

After the Uno cards were finally cleaned up, the game of Life was spread out in the middle of them.

"I want the blue car!" Percy exclaimed, snatching it from across the board.

"I want the purple one," Jason said, and reached for it before looking to Hazel. "Which one do you want?" he asked.
