Solangelo One Shots (fluff)

Story LXV

!IMPORTANT! This is a deaf/hard of hearing Will AU. Will is deaf in his left ear and hard of hearing in his right ear, he has a hearing aid for that one. Sign language is in italics. They are also both 18.

Nico shifted, his leg lightly bumping into the presence next to him. He rubbed his eyes, but kept them closed as he turned on his side, scooting closer to Will and wrapping an arm around his torso, hugging him close and burying his face into his side.

Will's chest rose and fell steadily with his breath and Nico couldn't help but smile as he nuzzled closer, trying to block the rising sun that spilled through the curtains from the window over their bed.

It was quiet, aside from Will's steady breathing and his occasional small snore. The Hades cabin was too secluded for the bustle of camp to reach his ears and he loved it that way. He could pick up the small tweeting of birds but they sounded so far away. Nothing mattered when he was curled up in bed with his favorite boy in the world.

He shifted again and Will still slept like the dead. Nico propped himself up on an elbow and wracked his eyes up and down Will's body. One of his legs was hanging off the edge of the bed,—rookie move, really, Nico thought. He's just waiting for monsters to grab it— his other leg cocked out and bent so his foot rested against his other thigh. An arm was thrown over his head and the other rested on his stomach. He was so adorable and Nico couldn't help but lean down and press a small chaste kiss on his slightly parted and dry lips.

Nico's eyes caught on his freckles, small golden beams breaking through his skin and making him shine. They dusted down his face, over his cheeks and spread to his shoulders, then trickled down his arms and gathered again at the backs of his hands. Nico knew he had some on his back and even more dusted on the tops of his feet from always wearing flip flops everywhere.

Nico ran a hand up Will's soft, gilded skin, up his plush stomach and chest to rest on his shoulder, his thumb rubbing back and forth at the freckles that he loved oh so much. He kissed Will's other shoulder, the one near his face, lightly and smiled into the warm sensation.

He pulled back again and scanned Will's face, his eyes flitting from the delicate bony arch of his nose to the soft bow of his lips, then up to linger at Will's dainty blond lashes that rested against the thin, soft skin of his under eye.

Nico skimmed the hand from Will's shoulder up his neck to cup his face, gently playing with the curls behind his ear. His thumb brushed over the freckles on Will's cheek bone. He moved his hand away and began tracing Will's features lightly with his index finger.

He ran it down his jaw, then up to his hairline and circle at his forehead. He rested it in inbetween Will's eyebrows then followed his nose and felt downward, smoothing over his freckles. He began counting, one by one, each freckle he touched. Reverent eyes trained to the freckles on Will's face and a curious finger smoothed over each and every tiny speck he counted.

When he reached around one hundred and two, he felt a hand cup the back of his head, spanning across his scalp and fingers delicately clutching the back of his neck. Nico's eyes glanced away from the freckle he was looking at and immediately met Will's sleepy cerulean eyes, half lidded and drowsy but full of love.

A smile tugged at Will's lips and Nico couldn't help but kiss him. Will's hand was heavy and limp on his head, holding him close. Nico pulled away and moved his hand to cup Will's cheek again.

"You made me lose count," Nico signed, a small fake pout on his face, shifting enough to make sure Will could see.

Will threw his head back with a snort, grinning. "Well good morning to you too," he responded, then ruffled Nico's hair.
