Nico practically jumped out of bed, the moment he came to consciousness. Today was the day! He'd never gotten up that early since, ever, really.

He shook his husband awake. Will was still resting peacefully, his head propped on the pillow, an arm over his stomach and the other under where Nico's head was resting just moments before.

He snorted awake, blinking blearily into the sun lit room. His hair was a mess, frizzled around him and framing his head against the dark pillow. "Nico," he groaned, drooping an arm over his eyes. "Why in the gods' names have you woken me this early?" his voice was gravely from sleep.

Nico scoffed, then smiled. He leaned over his husband, pressing his lips to the blond's ear. "Will, don't you remember what we were going to do today?"

Will groaned again, but moved his head to nuzzle his nose against Nico's cheek. "No," he mumbled into the smaller man's skin.

Nico let out a chuckle. "We're supposed to go baby clothes shopping today, William," his voice teasing.

Will's eyes snapped open "Oh my gods," he exclaimed, shooting up from the bed so fast he bonked Nico in the head and the smaller man lost balance, face planting into the pillows. "Sorry!" Will said, but Nico just rolled over and laughed.

"I'm all good, my love," he said, sitting up and swinging his legs over the edge of the bed. The plush carpet tickled his feet. "I'm glad you're excited,"

Will bent down, placing a kiss to his head, a slight glow emanating from his lips and Nico's head felt instantaneously better. Then the blond ran his hands down Nico's body and grabbed his hips, pulling him up off the bed and into his body.

He held Nico close, their bodies flush. "I can't wait for the baby to come," he whispered in Nico's ear as he rocked them back and forth. His mouth drifted down, placing small kisses down the side of Nico's neck.

Nico exhaled and relaxed against his husband, letting Will do most of the supporting as his limbs grew weak from the kisses. "I love you," he sighed, his head falling on Will's shoulder.

"I love you too, angel," Will mumbled into the soft skin of his neck, his breath sending a shiver down Nico's spine.

"We should get dressed," Nico said, his voice weak and breathy.

Will hummed but continued his kissing, a hand running up and down Nico's spine, warming his skin and setting his nerves alight. "I suppose you are right," Will relented after some time, pulling back just enough to gaze into Nico's eyes.

Nico smiled sweetly up at him, leaning up to press a brief kiss to his husband's lips. "Come on, we'll pick up some food on the way to the shops"

Will released him from his hold, but snuck one more quick peck before heading to the bathroom for their daily routine.

Nico rummaged through the closet as Will was in the bathroom, picking out some nice, comfy clothes for himself and grabbed something for Will, too, knowing he wouldn't mind. He picked out some black jeans and a simple hoodie with a skull on it for himself and a pair of Will's classic cargo shorts, along with a star wars graphic tee and a blue and green flannel.

Through their usual morning shuffle, Nico's mind wandered. He looked around and thought how different things would be once the baby came. They already had a nursery, the walls themed with nature, a nice relaxing muted green as the main color. There was a large tree that housed many different animals in it, Hazel painted that for them. There were fairy lights and a crib Leo built. Thankfully it wasn't super high-tech so he assured them it wouldn't blow up. Annabeth had helped them decide on where everything would go and make the most of the space, and Percy was mainly there for moral support. Reyna had gone out and bought them the essentials as a gift and helped them find the perfect place for them. Their friends helped them so much, Nico almost couldn't believe how eager and supportive they were.
