I LIVEEEEEEE 🐉 Lol, so it's been like, a year? Since I last updated, I've been really busy with school, fucking sucks, and I decided to write instead of study today lmao 😂 Please just bear with me, I know I'm rusty as hell so if you think this story is getting bad, I won't blame you 😅Anyway, let's get on with the story shall we?

Izuku pov

Once I finish eating my Katsudon I start washing the bowl, getting loss in the picture I saw of mom and her boyfriend from earlier. 'Is she really happy? She's not gonna hurt it like she did me, right? Or am I the problem?' "What you muttering about nerd?" I absentmindedly answer, "why does she hate me?" "Who?" I blink myself back to reality, looking up at Kacchan "huh?"

"Oh, nothing, just talking to myself" I quickly set the bowl up to dry before walking out of the kitchen, drying my hands on my pants as I walk past Kacchan. I start walking towards the stairs before stopping, seeing Yaoyorozu and Iida playing a game of chess at the table, Iida letting out a small sigh as he knocks over his King piece, which makes Yaoyorozu clap softly.

I walk over, looking down at the play for a few seconds before letting out a small hum "can I play?" "You know how to play?" I look over at Yaoyorozu, feeling slightly offended as I nod once, seeing her perking up in excitement. "Oh! finally, someone else to play!" "Hey!" "Ah, not that you aren't a good player Iida! It just gets a little .... tedious playing the same person"

I stifle down a snort as I look up at him curiously, watching as he pushes up his glasses before nodding "I understand" Yaoyorozu letting out a nervous chuckle as Iida stands up and walks off. After quickly resetting the pieces on the board, I let her go first, flipping the board so she gets the white pieces. I watch as she moves her pawn 2 spaces forward before looking up at me. 

We slowly start moving our pieces across the board, analyzing each other's move before making a move ourselves. "Checkmate" I look up at Yaoyorozu, seeing her shocked expression "wait what?" I watch as she quickly scans the board before looking up at me, a soft smile on her face "wow Midoriya, you're good" "thanks" "can we play again?"

I nod, slightly relieved that she didn't accuse me of cheating or something. We play a few rounds, Yaoyorozu getting more and more frustrated as I keep on beating her. As I beat her the 6th time she stands up, a tight smile on her face. "I didn't realize how good you were Midoriya, I think I've had enough for today hahaa" I just nod, pressing my lips into a thin line.

"Ok, thanks for the game Yaoyorozu, I think you're the best opponent I've had yet, which saws a lot about you, I had fun" I give her a small smile "yeah, me too" she then turns around and walks off, making me let out a small sigh. I quickly clean-up, a frown now tugging at my lips. 'I bet she hates me now too. I mean, of course she does, everyone hates me'

"You really are a nerd, aren't you? Since when do you play chess?" I look over at Kacchan as I set the game back with the others. "For a while now, you have to learn how to play, that'll be your first training." "Seriously? Chess?" I nod my head up at him. "Trust me, it'll help you learn how to make strategies, learn to think ahead, and reading your opponent's next move "

He nods his head, thinking for a few seconds "I guess it makes sense" he shrugs before I make my way upstairs to my room, leaving the door slightly open in case the kids wake up and want to come in. I sit on the bed staring down at my hands for a few minutes before I let out a small sigh, laying back on the bed and staring up at the ceiling.

I make a small hologram appear over me, a picture of mom appearing over me again. I see her on the couch, cuddling up beside her boyfriend as they watch a movie together. "I love you, I'm so happy to start a family with you" I watch as mom turns in his arms, leaning up and giving him a small kiss to the lips. "I love you too, I can't wait to meet them"

I watch as he reaches down and starts petting mom's stomach, mom smiling at him before nodding. "Yeah, I'm going to love them, no matter what" I immediately feel my breath hitching, swiping at the hologram before quickly sitting up "why?" being the only thing I can say, my voice sounding way too small and broken for my liking. "Izuku?"

I jump, looking up at Akio with wide eyes, clearing my throat as I sit up straighter "A-Akio, you scared me" I let out a nervous chuckle as he walks over to me "I scared you?" I let out a small nod as I hum "I didn't know you were awake. You ok?" He nods as he sits beside me. "Was that your mom and dad?" I immediately tense up looking away for a second before I look back over at him. "My mom, that was her boyfriend"

"Oh" we both stay quiet for a long couple of seconds "I know you don't like talking about it but, can I ask what happened?" I let out a small sigh, knowing they've been dying to ask for a while now. "When I got my quirk, the doctor told me how powerful and dangerous it was, so I had to hide it. Everyone thought I was quirkless, my dad left us, and my mom blamed me"

"They .... They don't like me" "is that why you ran away?" I nod "yeah, my mom just .... changed to much too fast for me" ".... do you ever regret it? I mean, she's still you mom." "No, it was for the best, besides, she's moved on, starting a new family, she doesn't care about me" "what about you?" I stare at him curiously, tilting my head to the side a little.

"What about me?" "Do you still care about her?" I smile sadly, turning and looking down at the floor "of course I do, she's my mom" I furrow my brows together, my smile fading into a deep frown "but I wasn't good enough .... for either of them, so it doesn't matter" I tighten my hands into fist before feeling a small hand on my arm "I'm sorry" I look over at Akio before laughing.

"Why are you sorry, you didn't do anything, weirdo" I reach over quickly ruffling his hair before changing the subject "where's your sister?" "Downstairs eating" I nod before standing up, grabbing him and throwing him over my shoulders, hearing him letting out a squeal. "Which is what you should be doing, how are you gonna grow if you don't eat, short stub"

"Hey! I'm not short!" I laugh as I walk out of the room, making my way downstairs where I see Ren sitting at the table, happily eating. "Akio-niichan! You've gotta eat, it's so good!" I set him down on the ground, tripping him slightly as he starts rushing off and chuckling at the small glare he sends my way. I turn my head, seeing Kacchan walking out from the stairs.

A knowing look being shared between us 'nosy motherfucker.' I laze around for a few hours before helping the kids ready for bed, making sure they shower, brush their teeth, and combing out Ren's hair before taking them over to Kacchan's room with their backpacks and an outfit for tomorrow. "Ok, both of you go. to. bed. NO t.v. it's already past your bedtime and you have school tomorrow"

I turn and glare at Kacchan as I tuck them in "I mean it Katsuki, make sure they go to bed." "Don't worry Deku. How long are you going to be gone for?" I stand up as he eyes their backpack and outfits on the bed. "I should be back for class, but if I'm not can you-" he cuts me off with a nod "I'll take them to school" "thanks Kacchan" I look back over at the kids. "Night you two"

They quickly say goodnight as I make my way towards the window, pulling off my clothes to reveal my vigilante outfit underneath. "They go in at 8, Akio's in class 4B and Ren's in class 3C, make sure they eat before leaving. Their homework is already in their backpack. Principal Senju is ok with dropping them of earlier since we go in at 7. If you nee-"

Kacchan cuts me off with a kiss to my lips, making me freeze completely '.... what' I blink dumbly at Kacchan as he pulls away, a small smirk on him lips. "Oh? Did I just figure out how to shut your rambling?" "N-No" his smirk widens at my small studder, making me roll my eyes "shut up, I gotta go" "uh-huh, be safe Deku" "Bye Izu! Be safe" "Bye bye Izu!" "Bye and goodnight"

Hey guys, so the next chapter is going to be a fight scene, as you can imagine. I would've added the scene on here but my laptop's dying, and I can't find my charger LMAO 😂 and again sorry if it's bad 😅Anyways, as always, I hope you enjoyed this chapter 🧡💚
