This story takes place in a fantasy world where demons, humans, and faunus (humans with animal qualities) fight for survival. A world where the rifle is shunned in favour for the sword and sheild.
The Visean kingdom has recently defeated the Demon...
Wilhelm has just finished listening to the reports from Rommel and his fellow observers. Goods are flowing to the Russian White Army, and has durastically changed the tide. Several new divisions have been formed from patriotich conscripts in the cities, thankfully without compromising war production to a dangerous degree.
The Ministry of Armaments had also bene producing the Marder 38t tank destroyer. Not in service in the German army, and was retty ineffective against most german tanks, but the Russians found this vehicle to be a game changer in reducing the communist's vast amounts of T34's, with a longer range, powerful guns, and high speed an meneuverability. And the low production cost and time allowed for many units to be built quickly and cheaply.
Wilhelm was pleased when reading these reports, sitting at his desk, as Freida entered the room.
"My dear, you must avoid walking as much as possible." Wilhelm insisted, also insisting that his beloved wife sit down.
"I know, I know. That's why I wanted to ask you." Wilhelm sat down at his desk and listened, the bright light eluminating his white uniform. "It is too much for me at the moment, I was wondering if you could get Erica home from school?"
"Of course my dear, I can see to that." Wilhelm said as he kissed Freida on the Cheek. Before long Wilhelm had his blue uniform with eppaulettes and was arriving at the gates of Erica's pre-school. It wouldn't be long until Viktoria were to enroll too, being a year younger than her older sister. Of course they could be taught privatley, but Wilhelm insisted they attend public schools as it connects them with the people more, giving them as normal of a life they can get. His daughters will not be ahppy alone, coddled amongst the aristocracy.
Wilhelm, flanked by Serina, met Erica at the school gates who ran into her father's arms exclaiming his name.
"Hello my dear, what's this?" Wilhelm asked as he was given a drawing. It was a crude drawing of a Panther Tank with a crude representation of her father waving from the commander's hatch.
"It's you dada! In a, pan... pan-ter!" Erica exclaimed, Wilhelm chuckled as he picked Erica up, she has still not gotten to grasps with her th's. Wilhelm then sat her down in the open top car next to him, and buckled her seatbelt, but not before scruffing Erica's hair which earned a chuckle from the girl.
"We'll have to get mom to put it on the wall." Wilhelm said smiling, Erica smiles. "Driver, drive on." Serina climbed into the front passenger seat next to the driver before the car along with the praetorian guards on motorbikes set of on the road. As they travelled through the bustling city, to Wilhelm it seemed the buildings got taller everyday. The other day he could sware they were only two stories high, now the buildings seemed to have doubled in height. The population was booming and he had seen plenty of documents stating as such, even more for allocating resources to expand the city well beyond the older city walls built when Wilhelm was first forming the country.
Wilhelm waved to the people who waved back on the streets as he was driven past, as Erica played with a little model tank, rolling it across her lap. The motorcade then came to a halt as a platoon of Brandenburger Commandos, the most elite special forces unit in the heer. The sergeant, in her organge and grey camo uniform, her padded stanhelm helmet seperating these elite stalwarts from the rest of the picklehaube-wearing army.
