This story takes place in a fantasy world where demons, humans, and faunus (humans with animal qualities) fight for survival. A world where the rifle is shunned in favour for the sword and sheild.
The Visean kingdom has recently defeated the Demon...
"Have the new orders come through yet Colonel?" Blomberg asked one of his officers, unbuttoning his winter greatcoat as he did so, revealing his new uniform, part of an outroll of an overhaul of the uniforms of the entire German Army.

"Yes sir! Right from Rommel and Zhukov's headquarters." The officer then handed Blomberg a telegram: "Execute Bruckenleger, General Vonderheiter, chief of staff to Heersmarshal Rommel." Blomberg recognised the name, while Blomberg was Rommel's go-to General in his Army, Vonderheiter was recently promoted to chief of staff to keep tabs on what occured and what improvements could be made for the army, learning experience and lessons from the Russian campaign.
Operation Bruckenleger was the operation to attack Moscow. White Russian armies in the south and north are mustering to aid Blomberg's spearhead by attacking the polar flanks. Blomberg's tanks and half-tracks had been refueled. The soldiers were all fed and clothed for the winter, and they were prepared.
The Communist forces in the other hand, had tried a desperate winter offensive a month ago which had stalled as German and Tsarist forces had entrenched for the winter. Any communists tanks that were not exhausted of fuel or had broken down in the cold, were ineffective against the entrenched positions as German anti tank guns and tank destroyers made short work of them.
Furthermore the Commander of Zinoviev's communist army, Marshal Budyonny, has allowed his troops to get severly neglected and under-equipped. Red army troops were deserting to German and Tsarist lines, there was no doubt that since an attack on Modcow was being commenced the Communists were on the back foot.
At the same time Kaiser Wilhelm and Tsar Nicholas were travelling by armoured train towards the frontline where General Blomberg and his armour for the spearhead towards the capital were massing.
"I just wanted to thank you Wilhelm, for everything." Nicholas said, slowly, giving Wilhelm time to recognise his greatfullness.
"It waa no trouble, Russia has supportee Germany, it was time we repaid the favour." Wilhelm said warmly. "Plus it wouldve done no good to have a Communist Russia bordering our Spartan ally."
"Wilhelm, if we win..."
"When we win Nicky, when we win." Wilhelm interrupted calmly, in a resilience that said he wouldnt stop until the Tsar was back on his throne.
"Of course," Nicholas chuckled, "when we win. What would you do in my position, to consolidate my reign? I do not want to suffer a revolution so brutal again."
Wilhelm thought long and hard, but eventually madr his suggestion. "When it fomes to dealing with the Communists, I would strongly be against mass executions and arrests. While it is what the people expect, it would start your return to power on the wrong foot. Whike Zinoviev and Budyonny would have to go, lower pfficials and talented officers and administrators wpudl be quite useful. I am suggesting you adapt you Empure with Communist ideas and princibles. The oned that work well or are popular you impliment, while the others that challenge the Tsars authority or are inneffective you should toss away." Wilhelm explained. "Clearly communism is popular with the people, or they would not have risen up in support of them. A clean intergration would show the people you mean the best, and that a new beginning is nigh. Preventing further revolution, some delgation is necessary but you as Tsar can rule again. And then Anastasia too when the time comes."
