I was already feeling uncomfortable with how those boys kept glancing at me. Some even pointed and whispered to their friends while licking their lips. Gross.

Stupid me, I should’ve just worn Travis’ jacket. Now I was stuck trying to hide my chest with my arms. It didn’t really help though, their eyes were still all over me.

I was about to stand up and walk away when Tiffany’s annoying voice cut through the noise.

"Oh look who decided to show up, the baby herself!" She practically shouted, making sure the whole crowd turned to look at me.

I froze. Seriously?

"She’s the only one chickening out of the game. Everyone else is in. But nooo, princess Luna here is too innocent for all this, right? Still needs her pacifier maybe," Tiffany smirked, her friends laughing like dumb parrots.

I opened my mouth to snap back, but Molly was faster.

"At least she’s not here looking like a desperate cheap skank who can’t keep her mouth shut unless there’s a dick in it." Molly’s voice was sharp and loud, cutting through Tiffany’s laughter like a knife.

Everyone went “oooh” and Tiffany’s jaw dropped.

"Yeah, Tiff, your obsession with Luna is getting weird. Are you jealous or just bored of your own pathetic life?" Ashley jumped in too.

Tiffany looked like she was about to explode, her face bright red. Before she could reply, Drake stood up, clapping slowly.

"Relax ladies," he drawled, eyes settling on me with that disgusting smirk of his. "She’s just scared. It’s alright, Luna. This game isn’t for little girls anyway, you can leave."

That stung. But I ignored him. I knew exactly what Drake was hoping for, an excuse to humiliate me.

I wasn't taking chance for that to happen.

"Now, go get you're some lollipops or shove your ugly face in Tom and Jerry meants for toddlers like you, off you go!" Tiffany added, earning a loud laugh from everyone, excluding my friends of course.

"Tiffany, that’s enough. If she doesn’t want to play, that’s her choice. Stop pushing her." Travis, who had been quiet all this time, finally spoke up.

For a second, I almost felt grateful. Almost. Because then he added with a small laugh, "Not everyone is grown enough to handle stuff like this."

My heart dropped.

What the hell did he just say?

Grown enough? Handle stuff?

Is he serious right now? After everything, the way he’d always teased me for being too innocent, too untouched, for still being a virgin. Now he says this in front of everyone? Like I’m still a kid?

I clenched my fists. That was it. That stupid smug look on his face was all it took.

"You know what" I snapped, loud enough for everyone to hear. "I’ll join your stupid game. Since apparently I’m such a baby, let’s prove you wrong."

I marched right up to where they were gathering, ignoring Molly’s shocked face. Travis blinked, his smile fading.

"Luna—" he started.

"What? I’m playing. Happy now?" I hissed, glaring right at him.

He didn’t respond. He just stared at me with this weird look in his eyes, like he didn’t know whether to stop me or be amused.
