Best Bud Ever!

The following morning after the party and that whole fiasco with the party, the Samadhi fire, the hangovers and Redson's confession, all had gone back to their respective homes, with the Bull family going back to the castle and the monkeys going to their respective tree homes to chat and talk about what went on.

Xiaotian had said his goodbyes to DBK and PIF, with both of them looking at their son and nephew in suspicion because neither of the two could look at each other without gaining a larger blush to their quite frankly already red cheeks.

It was quite obvious something had happened, but neither could figure out what, so for the time being they would leave it alone until either it became a problem, it was getting too hard to watch and they had to intervene, or one of the boys came to them. Until any of those conditions were met, both parents reluctantly left the two be.

Neither of the one's planning the date had any idea what they were doing with all this, but both individually agreed that the other deserved a gift of some kind, kinda like a courting gift to convey intentions, even if those said intentions are already half-way across.

However, that added another thing to the pile of things to think about, because obviously a courting gift needed to be special, it needed to be personal, needs to mean something specific and everything all at once. Not to mention it kinda needed to last since one of them was immortal and the other is basically immortal if your going by natural life-span.

So to make sure it was perfect, both Redson and Xiaotian took turns going to the others home and had talks about the date whilst quietly sneaking in questions on what the other might like for a gift. (neither were subtle in their attempts but still thought they were being sneaky)

It was a good show to watch as the bull and monkey danced around what they wanted to ask, and when the meetings happened at Flower Fruit Mountain, the monkeys got front row seats by either sitting on a nearby branch and watching from above, or through the window of the hut if they were sitting inside.

The same could then be said for when the conversations happened at the Demon Bull domain, but PIF and DBK more or less stayed out of it and just had a bull clone watch and record from afar like it was a drama show. It was kinda funny at one point as Redson had needed to ask his parents something during one of these visits and he'd walked in on them eating popcorn as they watched a screen that connected to the bull clone watching the pair.

It was a fun day that one. Well.... fun for most of them.

However, on this day, Chichi decided to come with Xiaotian when he visited the demon bull domain.

That in itself wasn't a problem, the problem was that when Xiaotian got inside the palace he was whisked away by DBK and his wife and Redson was left with the best friend of the one he's trying to court.
