HELLOOOOO!!! I return with food! (Graciously serving all of you a plate)
I got the writing bug, so here's another chapter! As far as requests go, I am still taking them! All the ones for Aizawa are currently NSFW so those will take a little longer, but will eventually come.
This was requested by @pholoveswilliam! (I really hope that tags the person because I am writing this from my tablet and can't tell.)
A fluffy, slightly angsty Aizawa x Reader!
Enjoy your food everyone! :3

The quiet hum of the faculty room is broken only by the scratching of pens and the occasional sigh from overworked teachers. Aizawa sits slouched behind his desk, dark eyes red and narrowed over a stack of student papers. Across from him, you tap your pen against your own pile of papers with a bored intensity.
"You know," you say finally, glancing up at him, "it wouldn't kill you to grade with a bit of optimism once in a while."
Aizawa doesn't even look up. "Optimism doesn't get students to improve. Accuracy does."
You give a quiet huff and lean back in your chair. "You say that like those two things can't exist in the same universe."
"They can't," he deadpans.
You groan and toss your pen onto the desk. "You're impossible."
"And you're loud," he murmurs without missing a beat.
Before you can fire back, Present Mic leans against the doorway, grinning like he's been waiting for this moment the entire day. "Ah, the daily lover's quarrel. Truly, U.A.'s most consistent form of entertainment.
You glare at him, your cheeks heating up. "We're not—"
"Save it," Aizawa mutters, setting another report aside. "He's not worth the energy."
"Hey, Rude!" Hizashi pouts dramatically. "Anyway, I just came to tell you two lovebirds that Nezu's planning a big dinner party for the staff. End of term celebration or something. You know how he gets."
You perk up slightly. "Dinner party?"
"Yeah," he says. "Formal attire, good food, and - get this - you can bring a plus one."
Aizawa groans under his breath. "Because that's exactly what I need... more socializing."
"Aw, come on, Sho!" Hizashi teases. "It'll be fun! Maybe you'll even get to sit next to—"
"Finish that sentence and I'll erase your vocal chords." Aizawa warns, voice low.
"Touché," Hizashi says with a grin. "Anyway, don't be late! Nezu's pulling out all the stops for this one."
When he finally leaves, the silence returns. Heavier this time.
You go back to grading, but your thoughts keep circling back to the dinner. Formal, huh? It isn't like you had a date lined up, but maybe it'd be nice to go out, talk with your coworkers without the stress of hero work or grading hanging overhead.
Still, you can't help but glance across the room at Aizawa again. His hair is loose, his expression as unreadable as ever.
"You're not going?" You ask.
He shrugs. "I don't see the point."
"Maybe because it's called team bonding," you pointedly remark. "You could at least try to act human for one night."
That earns you the faintest twitch at the corner of his mouth. Not quite a smile but something close enough to make your chest tighten unexpectedly.
"I'll think about it," he says, going back to his papers.
