Got these thoughts in my head
Ain't no way to forget
Got me losing my breath
Nobody got me the way that you did

The last time Leehan thought about someone so intensely... it had been when they were strangers.

Strangers who only knew each other's name.

It was one of those moments people long for—the kind of love so sudden it leaves you breathless, speechless, suspended in disbelief. A love that sneaks in quietly, then sets your whole world on fire.

It started when...

The club pulsed with lights and music, bass vibrating through the floorboards. Leehan leaned against the bar, drink in hand, trying to disappear into the crowd—but fate had other plans.

He appeared like a spark in the darkness, moving with effortless confidence. Yet his eyes—oh, those eyes—found Leehan instantly. It was like gravity had shifted. Leehan's chest tightened, heat rushing to his cheeks, and suddenly the noise of the club faded into nothing. All he could see was him. The eyes that connected right away, pulling each other in with undeniable force.

Oh, how that black leather jacket looked on him... So good-looking that every head turned when he glanced toward Leehan.

He tilted his head, a teasing smile playing at his lips. "Care to dance?" His voice was low, intimate, brushing Leehan's ear in a way that made his stomach flip violently.

Leehan froze. His heart stuttered, brain short-circuiting. How is a Greek god asking me outtttttt?

"Oh, how rude of me... Myself, Han Dongmin, but you, my love, can call me Taesan," Taesan said, extending his hands toward Leehan.

Leehan wanted to play it cool, to act like this was casual—but the second his hand reached for Taesan's, all sense of composure vanished. Warmth spread through his fingers as their hands brushed, a jolt shooting straight to his core. He felt exposed, alive, vulnerable—and for some insane reason, he wanted nothing more than to melt into that touch.

Taesan noticed the flush creeping up Leehan's cheeks, the slight tremor in his fingers, the way his chest rose and fell too quickly. Heat pooled in Taesan's own chest. He tried to play it cool—he really did—but inside, his pulse hammered, and his stomach twisted with the same delicious tension he saw mirrored in Leehan's eyes.

As introverted as he was, Taesan didn't want to lose the beauty in front of him—not tonight. When their eyes met, he knew he had to talk to him. Even just making Leehan think about him would make his night, and knowing him... well, that could change his life forever.

"And you, my darling, are?" Taesan asked.

GAWD. So fucking smooth. Leehan stumbled back slightly, taken aback by the gentle melody-like voice that seemed to reach straight into him.

Meanwhile, Taesan was taken aback too—he didn't know he could do that himself. Maybe his guardian angel had finally decided enough was enough with him being single.

"Uh... Leehan," Leehan said, a smile spreading across his face that sent Taesan straight to heaven and back.

They stepped onto the dance floor. Every movement felt magnified, every brush of skin sparking electricity. Leehan's palm rested on Taesan's shoulder, trembling slightly, and Taesan's hand pressed gently to the small of his back, steadying him, grounding him. Their eyes met, and in that glance was a silent question, a shared recognition: Do you feel this too?

Leehan's heart almost stopped. Yes. Yes. Oh god, yes. Every breath of Taesan's warmed his face, the faint scent of cologne tightening his chest. Every muscle, every nerve, was alive with the electricity of being this close, this intimate, without yet touching the part of him that mattered most.
