It's obviously insane
'Cause we both know what we want
So why don't we fall in love?
Baby, let's fall in love
Taesan had always been a man of control. Whether it was at work, with his friends, or in his own mind, he liked things planned out, structured, and predictable. But when it came to Leehan, everything was different.
Leehan had a way of throwing him off balance—an easy smile, a casual glance that felt too intimate, and a voice that made Taesan forget what he was supposed to say. They had been friends for months now, with their playful banter and mutual understanding, but Taesan couldn't ignore the pull he felt every time they were close.
Tonight, they were at a small café in the corner of the city, where the dim lights set the perfect mood for quiet conversations or moments that begged to be savored.
Leehan, as always, was sitting across from him, casually leaning against the table with his eyes fixed on Taesan, a little too intensely for comfort. Taesan felt the familiar flutter in his chest but didn't dare acknowledge it. Instead, he took a sip of his drink, pretending it was just another night.
"How do I make the phone ring?" Leehan's voice cut through the silence, soft and teasing.
Taesan raised an eyebrow. "What are you talking about?"
Leehan smirked. "Why do I even care? How are you all around me when you're not really here?" His eyes locked onto Taesan's. "When you're not really here, Taesan?"
The words hit Taesan harder than he expected, like a slap he hadn't seen coming. His pulse quickened. Leehan wasn't just talking about anything anymore. The air between them had shifted, thickening with something unspoken, something that both of them were trying to ignore for far too long.
Taesan leaned back, trying to maintain his composure, but Leehan wasn't letting him off the hook. "How do I feel you on me when you're not on my skin?" Leehan continued, his tone light but with an edge that sent shivers down Taesan's spine. "Why do you say you want me, then tell me 'I'm not coming in'?"
Leehan wasn't the one who usually played with fire—Taesan was the one known for his dominant nature, but tonight, it felt like the tables had turned.
"Baby, just come on in." Leehan's voice was a whisper now, and Taesan could feel the heat between them rising.
He stood up, his chair scraping against the floor as his body moved on instinct, closing the distance between them. Leehan remained seated, his gaze steady and unwavering, as if daring Taesan to make the move.
Every step felt like a pull, a gravitational force he couldn't resist. The moment their eyes met, there was no turning back. Leehan's lips parted slightly, and Taesan couldn't stop himself. He cupped Leehan's face, pulling him closer until their lips met in a kiss that was a slow burn, full of pent-up frustration and desire.
As they broke apart, their breaths were heavy, and Taesan's hands found their way to Leehan's waist, pulling him even closer.
"Every time I'm with you," Taesan murmured against Leehan's ear, his voice husky, "I go into a zone. And I remember all the places you wanna go."
Leehan's eyes softened. "Take me all the way, Taesan."
Taesan smiled, feeling the ache in his chest that he couldn't ignore. "Ain't nobody gonna touch it," he replied, voice low. "Not like I can."
Leehan let out a soft laugh, but it was a laugh full of promise, full of unspoken things they had both been too scared to say. "Why don't we face the danger just for the night and forget?"
"Forget everything," Taesan agreed, pulling Leehan closer. They both knew what they wanted now, and neither of them was backing down.
Leehan's lips brushed against Taesan's once more, and this time, there was no hesitation. They were falling into something neither of them had been ready to face, but they didn't care anymore. Not when it felt this right.
As the kiss deepened, Taesan whispered, "Let's pick up the pace."
Leehan moaned softly, his hands finding their way to Taesan's chest. "Take me all the way."
Taesan wasn't sure where they were going, but he knew one thing for sure: they weren't stopping now.
That night, everything felt like a blur of emotions and stolen moments, the kind that lingered in the silence between heartbeats. After their kiss, the world around Taesan and Leehan seemed to vanish. It was just the two of them—no distractions, no doubts.
They walked together out of the café, the cool night air doing little to cool the heat between them. Leehan's hand brushed against Taesan's, and without a second thought, Taesan interlaced their fingers, pulling him closer. The city lights shimmered around them, but the only thing that mattered was the way their bodies seemed to gravitate toward each other.
Leehan's lips curled into a smirk. "Are you sure you're ready for this?" he asked, the playful challenge in his voice only making Taesan want him more.
"Not sure," Taesan admitted, his voice rough with anticipation. "But I know I can't stop now."
They made their way to Taesan's apartment. The whole time, the tension between them thickened. Every touch, every look, every word felt loaded with desire that neither of them was prepared to confront so openly.
Inside, the dim light of the apartment seemed to heighten the intimacy, casting long shadows on the walls. They stood by the door for a moment, not knowing exactly how to bridge the distance that had always existed between them—until now. But it didn't matter. Leehan closed the space in an instant, his lips capturing Taesan's once more, this time with more urgency, more need.
Taesan responded immediately, his hands finding their way to Leehan's back, pulling him flush against him. Leehan's breath hitched, and Taesan could feel the shiver run through him. It was like they had crossed some invisible line that neither of them had dared to approach before.
"Every time I see you," Taesan murmured against Leehan's lips, "I don't wanna behave."
Leehan laughed softly, that mischievous sparkle never leaving his eyes. "Then stop waiting, Taesan," he whispered, his hands trailing down Taesan's chest. "Let's just... not care."
They moved through the apartment, as if each step was an unspoken promise. Clothes became an afterthought, discarded as they found their way to the bed. Taesan hovered over Leehan, his eyes dark with desire, but also with something deeper—something that had been hidden for so long.
Leehan's fingers traced the outline of Taesan's jaw. "Remind me why we're taking a break," he asked, voice full of question and want. "This is insane."
Taesan's breath caught in his throat. He knew exactly what they were doing—what it meant, even if they hadn't said the words yet.
He leaned down, brushing his lips softly against Leehan's ear. "Because sometimes... we need to stop pretending."
The night stretched on, filled with whispered words, stolen kisses, and touches that spoke louder than anything they could say out loud. It was the kind of night where they both forgot to care about the consequences, the kind of night where they both found exactly what they had been looking for without even knowing it.
And as the dawn slowly crept in, they lay tangled together, still trying to catch their breath. Their bodies were warm against each other, but there was a new warmth in their hearts too. A promise of something more. Something that would continue, even when the sun rose, and the world outside called them back to reality.
For that one night, it was just them—no pretending, no holding back.
Taesan knew they had crossed a threshold that couldn't be undone, and for the first time in a long while, he was glad for it.
