Drarry into the omegaverse

Harry thought he could finally rest after the war and all the Voldemort stuff was over, but no, he had to attend boring trials of various death eaters all while the ministry tried to put itself back together. Kingsley shackle bolt was in charge now, so at least harry could finally trust the ministry. Today was the Malfoy family trial, harry had no clue why but he couldn't sleep the night before, he was worried about draco. He had an unfamiliar feeling about the thought of the young omega being sent to Azkaban, Harry had convinced himself the feeling was pity since draco had been manipulated into joining Voldemort and he never really had a choice in the matter. Perhaps it was empathy, neither of them had a choice in their upbringing, harry was just lucky to have ended up surrounded by good people. 'what if Andromeda had taken draco in' Harry thought, perhaps there was More that could gave been done to help draco follow a better path.

"Ever since i was a kid death eater ideals were taught to me" draco explains "and by the time i was old enough to question the beliefs of the death eaters, I was already in too deep." Harry noticed tears in Draco's silver eyes. "I didn't know how to get out, i had no choice. No one ever offered me help, Dumbledore did before he died but it was too late, and he died before I could accept the offer..." Draco looke to the jury "i don't want to hurt anyone, i wont hurt anyone or cause any trouble, i promise."
"But what reassurance do we have of your promise, how do we know that we are not once again letting death eaters roam freely without facing the consequences of their actions? Who will make sure you stick to your word?" Kingsley asks.
Before harry even realized it he stood up "i will" he says.
Everyone turned to stare at harry. "draco can stay with me at grimmuald place and I will make sure he stays out of trouble..." Harry says. Even Draco was staring at him in disbelief. Harry could hardly believe what he had just volunteered to do.
"Alright, mister Malfoy will be released into your care this afternoon..." Kingsley says.

Draco was silent when harry picked him up, his mother, who had also been set free at Harry's insistence, was with him. "I appreciate your generous offer mister potter, but I didn't want to be separated from my son again-" Narcissa looks at Harry sternly.
"Oh, that's alright, theres plenty of rooms at grimmauld place. You can stay there too" harry offers "I mean, Voldemort would have killed me for real if it wasn't for you."
Narcissa nods "I'll go pack up our things from the manner draco, I'll meet you at grimmauled place"
"Actually ma'am, grimmauld place is hidden and I'll have to show you how to get it to appear-"
"No need, the house will magically appear to any members of the black family" she says "i went there quite often when I was a girl"
Harry nods "alright I'll meet you there"
Draco hugs his mother goodbye and whispers something to her, she nods in response "of course I'll get it for you, I know you need it" she says.
Harry raises an eyebrow. "this isn't some dark artefact you're talking about, is it?"
"No, all of those we turned in to the ministry, Draco just asked me to get his plush snake, noodle"
Harry looked at draco who was avoiding eye contact. "i think its cute" harry says

Back at grimmauld place draco curled up on the couch, harry put a blanket over him and made him tea, not knowing what else to do to comfort him. Harry didn't like the awkward silence between them so he started telling draco about the house. "Sorry if it isn't much... I'm still fixing the place up..."
Draco sighs and looked at Harry "why did you stand up for me?" He asks "to hold it over my head how you saved me? I'm not some helpless omega-"
"I don't know!" Harry admits "I wasn't thinking, and your situation reminded me of my godfather and, I should have tried harder to help you"
Draco looks away "I never asked for your help" he says
"But maybe... Maybe if we became friends in first year I could-"
"Help me pick out the wrong sort?" Draco smiles slightly.
"Yeah" Harry smiles and offers Draco a cup of tea. Draco added 4 sugar cubes to the Tea and let them dissolve before drinking it.
