Harry is a lot less sneaky than he thinks he is

"you are far too good at sneaking into the Slytherin common room" Draco whispers
"I've done it before, several times actually" Harry admits, leaning into Draco underneath the invisibility cloak.
"Yeah? How often have you snuck in here to gawk at me?"
"Well the first time was in our second year, and I don't sneak in just to gawk at you"
"Right, you get all your gawking done in the quidditch changing room"
Harry's face turned red underneath the invisibility cloak "I don't do that! I'm not like that, I don't stare at you-"
"Really? So you didn't miss the snitch because you were staring at my ass in our last quidditch match?"
"That wasn't- I didn't miss the snitch"
"Yeah, you were too distracted to even notice it"  Draco says "it was right behind you"
"Mr. Malfoy, who are you talking to?" Draco turned paler as he looked up and saw Snape looming over them.
"Just talking to myself about the quidditch game, I like to go over areas that I could improve on" Draco lies
"Really? There's not anyone else in the common room that's not supposed to be here? Someone hiding under an invisibility cloak?" Snape pulled the hood of the cloak off of Harry's head.
"Please don't tell father, he'll kill me if he finds out, I can explain everything just-" Draco starts to beg
"Relax Draco, I'll just say you were with another student not in Slytherin. As for you, Potter, two weeks detention"
Harry kisses Draco's cheek "worth it" he says
"Three weeks detention then"
"Yes professor"
"Return to the Gryffindor common room immediately, I'll have McGonagall determine any further consequences"
Harry got up and left.
"Professor Snape, I can explain, I- I'm-"
"No need to lie to me Draco, it's been painfully obvious about your ridiculous crush on Potter since first year. I will keep your secret from your father, but to keep it secret from the dark lord will require training, he is skilled in legilimency, so you must learn occlumency to protect yourself. I have no doubt you'll be a much better student than Potter was"
"Thank you professor" Draco says

"You're currently serving detention for sneaking into the Slytherin common room and now you're sneaking into my dorm?"
Harry popped his head out of his invisibility cloak "how'd you know I was here, the cloak still works perfectly-"
"You're not exactly a master of stealth, Potter. You rely on your invisibility and forget that there are other things that could give you away. For example I knew you were sneaking out to hogsmead in our third year because whenever it snowed I'd see your footprints"
"Then why didn't you tell Snape about me, he would have loved to catch me sneaking out"
"I did, but since your in Griffindor it was McGonagall's decision to punish you and she said footprints weren't enough evidence, I personally think she was intentionally turning the other cheek"
Harry climbed onto Draco's bed and pulled the cloak over himself, leaning into Draco
"You know you wouldn't have to sneak in here if you had been sorted into Slytherin our first year at Hogwarts" Draco said
"Perhaps my biggest mistake" Harry sighed
"you've made far too many mistakes much bigger than that"
"Like what?"
"Like flying a car to school second year"
"You're never gonna let that go are you, would you rather I missed our second year completely?"
"You're Harry Potter, alternate travel arrangements would have been made for you"
"I was 12"
"Exactly, far too young to drive a flying car-"
"Ron was the one driving the car"
"And he was also 12"
The door opened and both of them stopped talking as blasie walked in. "Potter's here isn't he?" Blaise asked
"How did you know?" Harry asked
"You two were just talking. If you try anything funny I will report you to snape"
"We're just cuddling" Draco confirmed
"If him being here interrupts my sleep he's got to go back"
"We won't bother you" Draco says.
