Harry had learned to recognize his boyfriend behind the feminine glamour. he approached him and sat at the table Ron and Hermione sat across from them. "So, now that we're meeting her are you finally going to tell us her name?" Hermione asks
Harry looks to Draco hoping he had finally picked a name. "Dracaena" Draco said and reassuringly took Harry's hand under the table.
"Well Dracaena, Harry's been very secretive about you" Hermione says
"He doesn't want the news all over our relationship" Draco explained.
"That still doesn't explain why Harry didn't want us knowing about you" ron says clearly upset that Harry had hidden 'dracaena' from them.
"Oh, that was my doing" Draco said "I was really nervous about meeting you, I didn't want you thinking I was with Harry for the wrong reason without at least meeting me first" Draco leaned into Harry and squeezed his hand, Harry squeezed back reassuringly
"So what school did you go to?" Hermione asked "I went to Hogwarts" Draco answered "I was a Slytherin"
Harry looked at Draco nervously, worried Hermione would figure out who Draco really was. "She was a year ahead of us, that's why you don't recognize her" Harry blurts out.
"This is stupid" Ron sighs "we all know that's Malfoy in drag. You may be able to fool the prophet, but we went to school together for six years. Now suddenly Harry has a girlfriend that looks exactly like Malfoy who Harry's had a crush on since Fourth year, you don't have to keep up the act around us Dracaena"
Hermione looked shocked for a moment before looking at Draco and feeling stupid for not recognizing him earlier.
"What? Malfoy in drag? I mean sure they look similar but that's just a coincidence, I never had a crush on Malfoy, I mean sure he was physically attractive, but-"
"Harry" Draco sighed "even Ron isn't that stupid"
"So you're cool with it?" Harry asks his friends.
"Yes" Hermione said at the same time Ron said "absolutely not"
"He's not good enough for you mate, he's probably only with you to save his family's reputation" Ron said
"Yes, because me being Harry's mystery girlfriend is doing so much to repair the Malfoy name" Draco rolled his eyes "that's why I made sure no one knows who I am"
Ron tried to think of another reason Draco might be with Harry "it's so you can escape persecution for what you did during the war"
"Like warning Harry that umbridge knew about his little study group and when the death eaters were going to use the vanishing cabinet to enter the room of requirement? Or did you not know about that because it never made the papers"
"Can you two please stop arguing?" Harry asked.
"Hermione you can't seriously be okay with this" ron asked
"He's changed" she said "I got him to join spew and even read some muggle book series"
"Wait, Draco joined spew?" Harry asked looking at Draco.
"It wasn't a hard decision once I started thinking for myself instead of blindly echoing my father's views"
"And you're reading muggle books? Does that mean-"
"Absolutely not, I am going nowhere near that Muggle motorbike of yours"
"Come on, it's completely safe"
"I said no, and you're not going to change my mind"
Harry sighs and wrapped his arms around Draco "I'll change your mind eventually"
