Harry sat on the couch of the 8th year common room absentmindedly staring at Draco Malfoy. He looked good, far better than he had been in years. He was talking to pansy with a bottle of beer in one hand, he turned to look at Harry and Harry immediately looked away, trying his hardest to act like he hadn't been staring at the omega a moment ago. Draco walked over to him.
"Potter." Draco sat next to Harry on the couch "I've got a problem with you"
Harry met Draco's gaze "what is it this time Malfoy?"
"Damn you Potter!" Draco leaned in to Harry , resting his head on Harry's shoulder "if you weren't that stubborn we'd be a couple already" he pointed at Harry, beer still in hand
Harry turned red "what?"
"Oh don't act stupid. You've been dying to ask me out, but you won't because I did some stupid stuff when we were kids."
"Malfoy you're drunk"
"And you're hot" Draco was inches away from Harry's face. Harry wanted to kiss the pale boy, but he refrained. "Malfoy-"
"You know what Potter? Fuck you. You think you're so great because you defeated Voldemort and saved the wizarding world, but you're a coward! You don't have the guts to ask me out, you-"
Harry cut Draco off with a heated kiss; Draco kissed back immediately. "About fuckin time you realized how hot I am" Draco slurred after the kiss.
Harry sighed to himself, he was torn between enjoying the affection from Draco while it lasted and leaving the omega because Harry 'KnEw' Draco's feelings 'WeReN't GeNuInE' (insert mocking SpongeBob here)
"Now are you gonna ask me out or what?" Draco asked expectantly.
"Draco you're drunk, you don't know what you're saying"
"So that's it? you work up the nerve to kiss me but you're still too cowardly to ask me out? The great Harry Potter scared of dating"
"I'm not scared, I just know you're not thinking straight-"
"You make it bloody impossible to think straight" Draco says
"Drunken words are sober thoughts Potter" pansy interjected from behind. Harry turned to look at her "how long have you been standing there?"
"That's not important, what's important is that Draco finally confessed his feelings for you, and you're still to dense to notice. Yeah he's saying what he's saying because he's drunk, but just because he's drunk doesn't mean he's lying"
"But-"
"Ask him out."
"I can't-"
"Do it. Now."
"But he's-"
"Ask him out or I'll turn you into the chicken you are"
Harry looked at pansy as she drew her wand and pointed it at Harry. "Transfigurus-"
"Draco will you be my boyfriend!?" Harry asked loudly. Pansy put her wand away and gave a satisfied smirk
"About fuckin time Potter"

"Did you really ask me out last night?"Draco looked up at Harry, he had fallen asleep on the couch with his head in Harry's lap and Harry hadn't moved all night, not wanting to wake the omega.
"Yeah... We don't have to if you don't want to-"
"Nope. You already asked me out, no take backs"
