headcannon that Draco is absolutely obsessed with muggle dogs

"okay don't get mad-" Draco started
"What did you do?" Harry demands
"Promise you won't get mad" Draco says
"I can't promise that, I know you've done something wrong, just tell me what it is!"
"Yip!" Harry walked towards the sound of the noise but Draco stopped him "okay but before you get mad, remember how lonely Padfoot has been lately?"
Harry pushed past Draco into padfoot's room and saw Padfoot playing with a smaller Pomeranian dog.
"Her name is princess. I made sure she'd get along with Padfoot and I'll take care of her, besides you're the one who keeps pushing me to embrace muggle stuff, you should be happy I got another muggle dog"
Harry sighs "Draco you need to discuss these things with me"
"I tried but you never got the hint-"
"Then tell me directly! Draco I'm not a mind reader"
"But I knew you'd say no"
"I wouldn't have said no" Harry looked at Draco "I'd need you to consider it more thoroughly, but I wouldn't say no outright"
"I did consider it thoroughly" Draco said "I took Padfoot to the shelter to pick out a sibling for him and when we saw princess we both fell in love with her"
"How long ago did you first go to the shelter?"
"This morning" Draco admits.
"This morning!? So you just woke up and decided to get another dog today?"
"No... Padfoot and I were out for our usual walk and I wanted to detour to the shelter because I heard they were looking for volunteers, I went in and when we saw Princess... I did think about it!" Draco said defensively.
"For what? 5 minutes?" 
"I'm an adult, Harry, I can get a dog if I want!"
"Draco, how are you gonna take care of him, you just use my money for everything, you can't get a dog that I have to pay for without talking to me" 
"You have plenty of money to pay for another dog, the potters had more money than the Malfoys!"
"But I have other expenses to take care of, and I want to make sure we have money for our kids-"
"Padfoot and princess are our kids!"
"Our human kids" Harry sighs and shook his head "it's fine even if you had asked me and I said no you would've gotten her anyway"
"You wouldn't have said no to me" Draco looks at Harry and picks up Princess
