The date went better the second time around.
Song Kang seems to loosen up a little, flirting more with Jennie, smiling like he's looking at the prettiest woman on earth all the time.
And so, Jennie was convinced that he deserved a third date. Before it came, they messaged each other at times.
"Unnie, you're so easy," Rosie teased her. "Why reply so quickly? Let him wait a little."
Looking at her deadass in the eye, Jennie placed her phone on the table and crossed her arms. "I'm not a kid anymore, Rosie. When you grow up, you'll also realize that honesty saves time. The right people will appreciate clarity. It's about being comfortable enough to show that you do care."
She looked at her phone screen that lit up, somehow feeling disappointed that it still wasn't her.
She messaged Lisa earlier how she is in China, after debating for days to do so because she thought distancing herself from Lisa physically and emotionally would do her good. It's been almost a day and still no response from the girl.
Well, at least Song Kang messages first and replies quickly as well. She likes that about him.
"Unnie... you're just a year older than me, right?" Rosie chuckles.
Jennie just put on a smile on her lips. "I can't wait for you to experience love and put it in a song, Rosie. You would do so well."
Snorting, the other girl stood up to stretch. "That is if we get to go out of this cave they put as in."
An even bigger smile for Jennie. "Oh, we will."

"So that's how it is," Jennie talks to herself, looking at Lisa's short reply.
Lisa: I'm okay here. Thanks
She rolled her eyes and just went to her closet to choose an outfit for her third date with Song Kang tomorrow.

"Jennie, I have something to ask," Song Kang says when they finished dinner at a private, 5-star restaurant in Seoul.
"Is it about our next group album? Sorry, I can't spoil it," Jennie jokes nervously, yet it came out smoothly that made him smile a little.
Of course, she knows what he is about to ask. She can feel it.
"Not that, silly. Though I'm also curious."
"You should be. I know I am. I have no clue when we'll have our next album," Jennie lets herself air out her frustration about it, though she usually tries not to let anyone else know about what their group feels about these hiatuses that their company gives them. Anything, just to stall him from his question.
"That... sucks," he comments.
"Yeah. We record a lot but I don't even get where all of them had gone too. Can you believe that?" Jennie rolls her eyes.
Song Kang is really polite. He looked like he wanted to go back to the topic, but he also sympathized with her first.
"Maybe those songs aren't fit for the current image of blackpink?"
"You're right, actually. Yet we record billions of it only to release what, 8 songs after 3 years?"
He pouted, "Aren't you just a year old group? I doubt your hiatuses will take that long. Hopefully not."
"Well... speaking of recording, our producer just messaged me to get on the studio urgently. I have something to record," Jennie quickly stands up after that make up shit she did when her phone lit up because of a text message saying her postpaid bill is due already.
