I had just finished my second and last class here at the college. It was exhausting. I expected that becoming a professor at a college is difficult, but I had no idea it was going to be like this. I really have to be prepared every time I taught, unlike teaching in high school-which is easy and natural for me. Students here don't even pay attention, but I guess there are some remarkable ones who have talent.

Glancing at my schedule, my day just got brighter. I have an hour break until my class back at the high school. As I view the piece of crumpled paper, I realize that Byron's high school class starts in just a few minutes . . . he has to go there now or he'll be late.

Man, his schedule is tough. He probably has to run if he wants to get there in time. Examining, I saw that almost everyday, his schedule switches from the high school and college with very little time in-between to move from place-to-place. I wonder how he's going to pull this out . . .

I kind of want to see him lose his 'calm' and 'collected' look.

I know, I'll go to the high school with him. Right now.

Grinning, I took big steps to the office and barged inside, only to see a bunch of other professors I'm not acquainted with and, of course, Droney.

I abruptly grabbed my things from my desk and decided to wait for Byron at the door.

"Isn't it your break right now?"

Standing, I spun my head to Droney, "Yeah." I briefly replied, "Did Byron leave?" I asked, wondering if he had already gone to the high school.

"Haven't seen him." He muttered as he scribble on the papers on his desk, "Why?"

"Nothing." I blankly said, not wanting to lengthen the conversation. Maybe Byron really did leave the college early . . .

Droney put his red pen down and whirled his chair to face me, "No, really. What's the deal with you two?" He gave me a puzzled stare.

"Nothing either." I repeated, it's not like there's anything. We're just co-workers and I just happen to admire his standoffish attitude because it's interesting-I also like how he can be so composed even though he works two jobs. Let's not forget how independent he is. It's also entertaining how he reacts to social matters like talking-or how he's a fan of Slenderman which is a myth that everyone in this town fears because it might kill them anytime, so it's actually praiseworthy that he's a daring guy. I also find it cool how he-

"You sound like you're hiding something." Droney said, breaking me away from my thoughts, "I'm just a little bit confused since he's such prick."

I narrowed my eyes at him, "First of all, I'm not hiding anything." I defended, "Second, you are much more of a prick than he is. Byron's actually a nice guy, he's just a little uncommunicative."

"Now you're just giving him too much credit-" He stopped, Droney's smug face was replaced with the look of surprise as his eyes widen. I noticed how he was looking behind me, rather than me.

"Move." A low tone behind me made me shudder. I turned to see Byron standing right outside the office.

"S-Sorry." I stepped out of the way, I didn't notice that I was blocking the entrance. Shit, shit, shit, did he hear?

As Byron walked pass me and to his desk, Droney gave me a short glance of alarm which I unknowingly returned, "Was he there the whole time?" I mouthed out to Droney as I matched his wide eyes.

"What?"  He mouthed out as well when Byron is busy gathering his stuff so he wouldn't see.

I forcefully and repeatedly pointed at Byron as our voiceless dialogue went on, "Did he hear?"
