"Mom!" I shouted, "MOM!" I yelled even louder as I jumped off of the couch and started running around the coffee table while waving an piece of paper-a very special paper-around my brothers and sisters' faces, "Diana, get your butt in the living room!" I called my mother by her first name.

"What are you doing!?" Mom came storming to the living room from the kitchen, her short brown hair bobbing from her head.

I hopped on top of the table with a smirk, "I got accepted! I told you I'm not a failure!" I screamed as flashed the paper.

"What?" She gave me a look.

"The school I signed up for? The one in that cute little town?" I reminded, "I got a job!"

"Yeah, after past 7 failed attempts to apply in other and better schools . . ." My brother, Dylan-who's two years older than me-muttered.

"Oh, shut up, you're just jealous." I retorted as I stepped back to the ground.

"He's an engineer, you're just a teacher." Juliet, my younger sister, mumbled without even looking up from her book.

"Don't say 'just'!" I fumed.

"Stop picking on her." The oldest, Darwin, commented as he read the newspaper.

"See!?" I said as I made my way towards the spot where he was sitting at and wrapped an arm around his neck, "Darwin understands me!"

He shifted from his seat, "No, I don't. Stop choking me." He said in a serious manner.

"Sourpuss." I pouted as I let go of him, I handed the paper to mom, "You don't even have a job!" I yelled at Darwin.

"That's because I just graduated from college while you graduated a year ago, idiot." He muttered while taking a sip from his coffee cup.

"Ms. Williams, we are pleased to offer you a teaching job in Devonshire High, we are delighted to inform you that you will be teaching Arts and-" Mom started reading with a look of excitement on her face.

"Hah, I got a job." I crossed my arms and gave a smug smile, "I told you so!" I snapped my head at Dylan.

"After 7 failed attempts." He repeated.

I was about to tell him off before the youngest girl among us, Jewel, stopped me, "But she got a job anyway." She smiled at us who looked at her momentarily.

I walked towards her and gave her a hug, "You're the only one who understands me." I glared at the other three.

"I'm going to tell your father!" Mom exclaimed as she made her way outside. I think it was her fault why I'm so loud.

Welcome to my life.

I have loving parents and four siblings, our ages are a little too different and some people would even have trouble believing if we're related because of how different we are from each other.

Darwin Williams, the oldest and mature. He recently graduated from medical school, he's like 28 or something, I don't really care, he doesn't really care either. Darwin's the serious type, doesn't talk much and spends his time studying and being boring but I'm pretty close with him.

Dylan Williams, the jerkwad. He's an engineer and-I hate to admit it-but he's a damn good one. He's 25 and his hobby is to annoy the hell out of me and we keep having this little rivalry between us for some reason. I hate the fact that only him and I have the same dark brown-colored hair we inherited from mom while the the other three were blonde, why do I have to have the same hair as him out of all four of them!?
