I munched on some junk food Droney bought for the trip while I sat on the bed, watching the television. The news was on and even though I couldn't care less, I watched it anyway since I don't have the remote and changing the channel was a bother.

It seems that there's a storm coming which would explain why it has been raining on and off since the last few days. Thankfully, the storm won't arrive until the day after tomorrow, so we won't have to worry about it on the way home.

I was already wearing my formal attire which is just a red suit jacket over a white dress shirt, paired with a black knee-length skirt. Seems fitting for a seminar. There's only half an hour left before the event starts. I don't know if Droney and Byron are all set, I'll probably check up on them later.

Someone loudly knocked against the door, making me flinch. I stood and walked over, uncaringly opening it to whoever it was.

I'm not even surprised when I saw Droney, who's still wearing the same clothes when we checked in last night, "Hey, you should get re-Oh." He stopped once he noticed what I was wearing, "So, I'm the only one who's not yet ready. Perfect." He nodded, walking away towards the end of the hall.

Well . . . That was fast.

I shut the door, waking back to the bed before sitting down on it as I ate. I guess Byron is also done. Normally, I'd take this as a chance to go and see him, maybe talk for a bit, but after last night, with the photo and all, I'm still hesitant.

But, I probably should be debriefed about the seminar. Droney said the whole thing will be pointless because everyone already knows what it's about, considering the event is months late. So, are we really just going to talk to other people? If so, what about? Why?

Patting the crumbs off of my hands, I got up and threw the empty packaging in the trash. With a sigh, I grabbed my travel bag and left the room. I'm pretty sure I'd rather keep my bag inside Droney's car instead of leaving it here. I bet they'll do the same.

Wait, I don't know where Byron's room is. I only know Droney's since I just saw him walk in there.

Well, I don't want to ask Droney about the seminar since he's back to his usual, cocky self.

I remained leaning on the door of my room as I waited. He'll leave his room soon. In the mean time, I should text Dylan and see when exactly will he return, to be prepared. I wouldn't want him to surprise like last time . . . It won't end well.

I took my phone out and unlocked it. The first thing that greeted me is Byron's sleeping face, catching me off guard. I hurriedly killed the application, glancing around and hoping that no one else is here. I didn't really delete it even after Byron found out. I feel like I should . . . but I don't really want to.

I sighed and calmed down. Tapping my foot, I dialed Dylan's number and waited for him to pick up. Almost immediately, he picked up.

"What?" He said through the other end, "Do you miss me already?"

"Haha, no." I bluntly replied with a serious face, "I'm not home, I'm at a motel for the seminar I told you about. Anyway, when are you coming back?"

"Uh . . . some time next week, I guess. Not sure." He slowly said, "So . . . you're not home?"

"Yeah, I told you about the seminar, didn't I?" I unsurely said, wondering if I had explained it properly.
