I slammed the office door open, breathing heavily and clearly in a bad mood. I thought about going straight home but after all the things that happened, I don't really feel comfortable being alone for even a second. Since I was passing by the school, I decided to drop by and ask for help. I have to report this, it's getting really worse.
"Rachel!" I shouted with an ominous aura, not bothering to hide the scowl on my face.
Everyone in the office stopped their conversation and work as they gawked at me. Figures, I was covered in mud after tripping multiple times in the forest, I probably had small pieces of wood and leaves sticking from my hair because I had to climb another tree after getting lost, I even managed to fall from it. Luckily, I wasn't that hurt, just a throbbing left arm because I landed on it.
Without wanting to, I saw my reflection on the window glass and groaned loudly. I look disgusting, my hair was stuck in the most impossible places and I feel sticky all over, not to mention an incredible amount of insect bites I got as souvenirs! Oh, don't forget the dirt on my face and my now stained clothes.
How fortunate am I? Everyone was here, they were all present to see me in this state, even Byron. I wasn't sure if it's just me or does he look a bit surpri-Nah, he really is surprised, I can tell because of how his eyes were just as wide as everyone's in the goddamn room. I must really look more horrible than I thought I do.
"What the hell happened to you!?" Rachel was the first to speak, or yell as she walked towards me.
"I don't know!" I exclaimed, stressed and tired, nobody averted their gaze from me as I sat down on a chair.
"And where have you been!?" She added while picking a few leaves off my hair which looks like a bird nest.
"Are you alright?" Austin butted in with a worried look.
"I was walking home alone yesterday and I think I fainted," I hurriedly explained, "then, I woke up in the middle of the damn forest and I was so lost, I had to walk at least two or three miles to get here!" I pounded on the desk, making my things shake and topple over. I noticed it made Byron's stuff wobble on his desk but I couldn't care less.
"What the heck are you doing in the woods?" Ryan asked while sitting on his chair, he rode his chair towards my cubicle with a curious look.
"I said I don't know, someone must've taken me there when I was knocked out." I let out a frustrated sigh.
"Do you have any idea who it could've been?" Jacob asked.
"No, but I think I saw some tall dude before I blacked out." I mumbled.
"Huh?" Austin raised an eyebrow.
"Some tall guy wearing a suit, I didn't see his face though." I shook my head, "This is getting bad, I'm being stalked by somebody in a white mask." I desperately said.
"S-Stalked?" Ryan perked up, "You mean like-"
"Yeah," Rachel cut him off, "That's what she meant, she was actually going home from my cousin's house, we discussed about those stalkers."
"What am I supposed to do?" I grumbled as they gathered around the cubicle. I thought I heard Byron give an irritated sigh.
"First off, your arm looks bad." Lance-who's been quiet and listening all this time-pointed out.
Now that he mentions it, it's starting to feel a bit numb, it's really swollen and a bit bruised up. The fall was a bit high, I was having a lot of trouble climbing down considering I was really exhausted that time. But because I was too focused on going back to the town where there's civilization, I didn't have the time to worry about it until now.
