【Multimedia pic! The scene from the previous chapter! HAHAHA! I WAS JUST DOODLING AND I DIDN'T EXPECT IT TO LOOK NORMAL, BUT IT LOOKS ALRIGHT SO I POSTED IT HERE AND ON MY DEVIANTART! IT'S JUST A QUICK DRAWING SO JOY DIDN'T LOOK THE SAME AS WHAT I HAD IN MIND (MY ART ISN'T USUALLY LIKE THIS). HER HAIR ISN'T THAT MESSY AND IT'S A LITTLE LONGER. SARREH! BUT YOU GET THE PICTURE xD】
The bell rang, disturbing my lesson, "Okay, you'll be passing your sketches tomorrow!" I reminded everyone as they hurriedly stood and rushed out of the room, "Tomorrow's the deadline!" I added in a louder tone.
I cleared the chalkboard, waving my hand at the puffs of chalk in the process, "Bye, Ms. Williams." I heard a voice behind me.
I turned to see Andrea, "Oh, see you tomorrow." I nodded at her, "Where's Helen?" I asked as she picked up her backpack.
"Hmm, well . . ." She suddenly looked uncomfortable, "We're not talking."
"What?" I stopped and gave her my full attention, "Why? What happened?"
"He keeps pushing me away . . ." She shrugged, "I got fed up and might have said some things I didn't mean."
"But you were starting to get along . . ." I pouted, "Where's he?"
"He already left. We usually walk out together, but y'know . . ."
"Aw, you have to fix it." I frowned and thought for a moment, "But I guess this isn't really any of my business . . . It's your choice."
Andrea nodded with a solemn look on her face, ". . . Well, I'm gonna go."
"Sure, be careful on your way home." I dismissed, cleaning the board once again.
Andrea walked out in deep thought as she looked down on the ground. I wonder how the whole thing went down . . . I really thought they were getting along fine, they both looked happy together at least. I really want to help them make up, but like I said, it's their business. They're at the age where they should decide and make their own decisions, and I don't really know the whole story either.
Scanning the spotless chalkboard, I grabbed my things and left the classroom. Right, groceries . . . for my stupid brother.
Come to think of it, I don't remember ever shopping for groceries in this town. After I ran out of food at home, I simply went to the diner every single day. This would be the first time I go shopping for groceries in this town. I don't even know where.
I don't really want to.
The only store I know of is the convenience, drug store where I bought some medicine for my dislocated elbow. It was the time I woke up in the middle of the forest, so naturally, I had to find my way back to the town. I climbed the tallest tree I could spot and scanned the forest. I found the town, but on my way down the tree, I fell, dislocating my elbow. Luckily, Rachel and her sister, Helena, helped me.
I entered the office with a blank look on my face, sighing. I raised my head and shut the door behind me. As expected, Byron is here, even Jacob. Now that you mention it, Byron and I were the only ones who have classes at this time. Everyone else's classes ends early. They're both busy with records and stuff. I guess that's why Jacob is here. Now I remember I have to do the same thing sooner or later . . . This sucks.
