this isnt the typical twilight story but i am hoping you're enjoying it :)

**winter’s pov**

‘i miss you bed!!’ i squealed and made a jump on to my bed making jacob laugh behind me. i smiled up at him from underneath one of my pillows as i kicked off my boots and rolled around on my bed.

Its been a week since i last saw my house, my room and most of all my bed. I could hear charlie laughing downstairs as he heard me squealing like a child. The sheets were brand new and they smelled like lavander and chamomile, dad has started to spoil me rotten.

‘i’d leave you kids alone...’ he called out ‘im needed in town...jacob?’

Jake grinned and went out of my room ‘i know charlie no fooling around...i’ll take care of winter i promise.’

Dad gave a grunt of approval and i heard him close the door and soon he was driving towards work.

I sat up on the bed and looked at the ancient irish chest on my bedroom floor, i havent really opened it for i was focused on reading the book nana gave me about medicinal plants and i plan to visit carlisle as soon as i finish unpacking so we can talk about the volturri and my family. Im sure by now carlisle probably has an idea of what im capable of doing. I looked up to see jake’s smiling face as he sat on my computer chair.

‘isnt it good to be home?’ he whispered and opened his arms for me.

I grinned and walked towards him to sit on his lap ‘i miss them already...especially deirdre. Do you think she’s doing alright?’ i asked as i absentmindedly rubbed my flat tummy ‘what do you think?’

‘what do i think of what babe?’ he asked with a mischevous grin that had my knees buckling from underneath me ‘about making babies?’ he whispered and kissed the exposed part of my neck.

I shivered and kissed his cheek ‘uhh sort of...should we?’

He smiled and hugged me close yet he shook his head ‘we made a promise...no hanky panky until we’re married.’

His answer made me so proud to have such an understanding and wonderful boyfriend...he choose to respect my decision when he could have another girl willing to go to bed with him anytime...but sometimes when i want him so bad i just wish we didnt make that deal.

‘you’re perfect...’ i whispered ‘oh...we need to see our friends and give them their gifts...’

He laughed and nodded ‘if we dont do that they’ll murder us...’ he was about to stand up when his phone rang from deep in his pocket. I quickly moved out off his lap and settled myself in front of the chest and touched it.

‘sam? Yes...i just got back, and winter’s with me...’ he said

I turned around and focused my eyes on him knowing that it was sam who was calling, usually sam would never call jake unless it was super important. I mean they could always communicate with their minds...i wonder whats up this time?

‘alright, i understand...i’ll be there in 15min.’

‘is there anything wrong babe?’ i whispered as jake looked at me ‘is everything ok?’

He sighed and shook his head ‘there’s been a lot of phasing recently...it could only mean more vampires. Vampires that had no business or whatsoever in our land’
