Cara texted me her room number later and I arrived at her door exactly at 7 o'clock in the evening. I linger a little bit in front of her room, not sure if I should just knock or wait for a while so I don't seem too eager or something. I decided to play it cool and just messing with my phone to pass the time. Probably ten minutes later, I get a message from Cara.

Planning to spend the whole night in front of my room, Jess?

"Oh, shit." I mumble as I hear her open the door, grinning broadly. I manage a weak smile. "Well, this is embarrassing."

"It probably is, for you," she winks. "But for me, I think that it's cute."

"Let's just go with your version then." I walk into her room as she steps aside to let me inside. I hear her chuckles behind me.

"Can we just forget that it happened?" I turn my head back to look at her amused face.

"Of course not." She walks past by me and throws herself onto the sofa. Not me. Yet.

After I got over my initial embarrassment, I can fully appreciate how beautiful she is when she dresses casually. Of course the supermodel Cara is beyond magnificent, but the casual Cara is more, um, sexy. And approachable, which is very, very good. She wears a loose white t-shirt and shorts. Her blond hair is kinda messy and she has no make up on. An easy smile playing on her lips as she looking at me from across the room. This night isn't going like how I imagined it would be. I expected that it would be a bit awkward at first. But it feels familiar, comfortable.

"Hey, what are you doing there? Come here." She pats the spot on the sofa next to her. I obediently follow her request and sit closely to her. She leans slightly into me, and God, she sure feels good. My skin tingles wherever we touch. I sit stiffly, not daring to move a muscle. I'm afraid that if I moved, this wonderful dream might be over and she would disappear.

"You smell nice, Jess." She murmurs, burying her nose on my hooded jacket.

"I showered before." Okay, this is stupid. I'm stupid. Be normal, Jess, for God's sake!

"Well, I'm glad to know that," she smirks at me, clearly teasing.

"God, sorry. I'm usually not this awkward around people." I laugh nervously while running my fingers through my hair. "Especially around someone as gorgeous as you are."

"Now, who's being flirty?" She laughs, poking my arm with her forefinger. Then she loops her arm around mine and speaks with softer voice. "There's something about you, Jess, that I'm not really sure how to deal with."

"And is it a good thing?" I am not really focused now, with all of the sensations that her arm brings. I want to get a super adhesive glue from my studio office and spill it all over our arms so it would be permanently linked. It wouldn't be practical, but still awesome.

"Maybe," she teases me. I glance at her and find that she's smiling sweetly at me.

"Okay. I could live with that."
