Here's the thing about memories. The magnitude of its fondness is getting stronger the longer the actual moment has passed. It's just like a panoramic mountain view, you would appreciate it better from a distance. All of the ugly details suddenly disappear, leaving only the beauty of it. On Monday, the day when Cara goes back to London, I find myself looking at the sky of New York absentmindedly. There are a couple of planes above. I wonder if Cara is inside one of them, looking back at me from afar. I sigh dreamily, reminiscing the fortunate events of the recent past. I met Cara Delevingne and actually got her personal number. How the hell did that happen? My doubts are momentarily forgotten, allowing me to dwell on how magnificent the feeling of being in her company. She is just what I thought she would be, so damn gorgeous and full of life. I grin stupidly when I remember the last words she said to me that night.

I'll miss you, Jess. Promise me you'll call.

"You sure fall fast for this girl, Jess." Amy's amused voice takes my mind of Cara. She's standing in front of my office door with a smug smile on her face.

"That's the concept of gravity, Amy. You accelerate when you fall."

"Smart ass," she sneers mockingly. "So what's the deal with Ms. Delevingne? Are you going to see her again or it's just a one time thing?"

"That, my friend," I say as I slump into my big leather seat, "is the million dollar question. What do you think?"

She takes her time to consider her answer while she sits on the sofa across my desk. "Honestly?"

"No, lie to me. Lie to me real good so I'll forever be oblivious to the reality."

"You're annoying when you're happy like this," she stated.

"Come on. Tell me. Am I fooling myself, entertaining the idea of dating her?" I am serious this time, I really need Amy's opinion. She's usually be the voice of reason for me. I don't want to admit this aloud, but I would be lost without her insightful guidance.

"Okay. I think that you're stupid for putting yourself in such risky position like this," she continues in careful tone. My smile immediately disappears. Uh oh.

"But," she lifts a finger to stop my protest, "as an architect/property consultant/business owner, you also know that a higher potential gain contains higher risks." Now she's smiling reassuringly at me.

"I believe that you should go for it. You always play safe when it's about love. You've never went head over heels for a women like this before. If she makes you feel this way, then I guess she's worth the risks."

We continue to grin at each other like a pair of idiots for a while. The giddiness of a new love story is apparently contagious. Then she asks me to tell all about my previous night with Cara with no details spared. Of course I oblige. There's nothing more exciting for me now other than talking and thinking about her. In a matter of days, she already has a special place inside of my mind.
