A week passed by and I haven't made my mind up yet about London. I was just too busy with works and whatnot. Two of my projects were closing on the deadlines and I had tons of meetings with owners and my teams. Actually I was grateful for the distractions. It felt good to immersed myself in what I'm really good at and riding on the high adrenaline level. It was like I took back the control of my life and set my own courses. I like to be in control. I have to be. That's why I hate this feeling of being helplessly in love with someone as unreachable as Cara. When I went off the grid socially for a week, Cara sent me a couple of texts. Thankfully she didn't text continuously like teenagers, only providing some interesting stories and important updates. After all, she is a busy lady herself. Sometimes, when things weren't too crazy for both of us, we skyped for a while at night. It was really comforting to had her voice and her face to be the last thing I saw and heard before I went to sleep. And at those times, I couldn't help but wondered how great it must be to have a real live Cara lying by my side. As soon as the thought popped up, I shook myself from this kind of wild imaginations. Some dreams are best to be ignored, especially the unrealistic ones.

I was just getting ready to sleep when my phone chimed. A new message from Cara. Wanna skype? A broad grin is inevitably spreading on my face. I don't know why Cara bother to ask whether I want to see and talk to her or not. Of course the answer is hell yeah. I skip replying her message and open the skype apps instead. I smile absently at the silly face she put on her profile picture. God, she's unbelievably adorable. My eyes are lingering for a while on her picture before I remember that I have to actually click the button to call her. Chuckling at my swooned state, I wait patiently for her to pick up. Seconds later, I find her bright eyes staring at me. A thousand butterflies take off and go mad inside my stomach. She seems to trigger that kind of reaction more often these days. Not that I'm complaining. It feels good to be in love.

"Hey, you," she says while smiling lazily. She wears a loose black tank top, which looks damn good on her. At this point, I'm sure that anything would look damn good on her.

"Hey, yourself," I reply breathlessly. "How's your week? Had fun in London?"

"I'm taking a break from shooting for a while now. Just got back from LA yesterday. Still tired."

"I bet that you can't tell me what it is about, huh? The movie, I mean," I smile playfully at her. It's our usual banter, me digging for juicy details of her upcoming movie and her dodging my questions.

"Nope. Can't risk it." She winks at me. "Although I may tell you another important secret."

"Yeah?" I move closer to the webcam, eager to know what it is about.

"Uh huh," she nods excitedly. "I'm going to New York next week. To see you." Her gaze when she says those last words sends a surge of warmth to my body.

"Really?" I almost wag my tail if I have any. Thank God, I don't. It would be embarrassingly obvious that her simple words make me unbelievably happy and hopeful. "How long do you intend to stay?"

"Only for the weekend, I guess." Then she adds a teasing smirk to her perfect face. "Unless you convince me to stay longer."

Oh, man. I swallow, hopefully not audibly. My voice is a little shaky when I finally able to speak. "And how can I accomplish that?"

"Use your imagination, love."

"Will do, baby. Believe me, you won't be able to say no."
