Gabe's P.O.V
What the hell? Why was Nathan dancing with Dyllon, and so closely? I could feel the pang of jealousy rising as I saw his arms tightly wrapped around her waist, and her small smile that was painted on her face. How could he give me a lecture about staying away from her, if he was allowed to be all over her? I looked at Dyllon, her lovely, black dress stood out against her pale skin, and turned with her every time she moved her delicate body. I had to pull them apart if I stood a chance. It's not like she looked the most comfortable dancing with Nathan, at least they weren't actively talking.
I wanted to be in Nathan's position, up nice and close with her. A strong grip around her waist.
The song finally ended, and I walked over to Dyllon and Nathan.
"Hey," I greeted them, and Dyllon broke away from Nathan's grasp and shifted her stance. "It's good to see you Nathan. Mind if I steal our special guest away?"
Nathan's eyes bore in to me, and he knew exactly what this was, there was no sense of hiding my intentions.
"I'm going to get a drink," Nathan grumbled, and I watched him walk away and returned my undivided attention to Dyllon.
"Enjoying the party?" I asked.
"Kind of," Dyllon answered. "I don't know if I am very welcome or not, Damien's friends didn't seem to favor my presence here. But please don't take that the wrong way, it's not a reflection on your party - it's just me."
"They are kind of a hard group to sway," I stated. They were not very welcoming to many. "And as for you, you're perfectly fine."
I took Dyllon's hand, and walked her across the room; Nathan was completely out of the picture.
"Dancing with Nathan?" I tried to start the topic.
"Uhh yeah. I guess he just noticed I was all alone, and then asked me to dance. It wasn't really a big deal. Kind of sweet of him, hey?"
No, that is not what I needed to hear right now.
"Want to meet some of my friends?" I said, changing the topic. "I think you already met one, sorry about him. Bad anger management."
"Sure," she agreed with a smile.
I held her hand to navigate her through the room, but we were interrupted by a pounding sound on the door.
"Be right back," I said, and she nodded with a soft smile.
I opened the door to find a very drunk Matt. The liquor poured off of him, and created a thick shield around him.
"Where's the party at?" Matt's speech was slurred. "I'm ready to get turnt up!"
"Come in Matthew," I sighed. Matt staggered in, unbalanced and then stopped.
"WHAT IS SHE DOING HERE? I SAID IF I CAME UP HERE, I NEVER WANTED TO SEE HER STUPID FACE!" Matt yelled and pointed towards Dyllon. Dyllon's face suddenly tightened up, and I watched as the fear set in to her. Her body went tense, and she desperately looked for a place to escape to.
"She was invited." I calmly said. "Matt, please, you are drunk. Calm down."
"GET HER OUT!" Matt yelled. People started to look towards Matt, and where he was directing his anger towards.
Nathan came up behind me and said, "I'll take care of Matt,"
"Good. I'll take care of Dyllon," I said that just to tick Nathan off.
I was about to walk over to Dyllon, but noticed Damien beat me to her.
"Want to get out of here?" I heard the tail-end of Damien's question to her.
