"It was an accident," Nathan muttered.
I closed my eyes, they hurt too much to keep open.
"What on earth made you do this to her?" I heard Carter press him. "Seriously Nathan, what the fuck?"
"Who the hell gave her this?" Nathan said, and I felt him grab my hair, pulling it back to show the hickey that Ryder had left.
Everyone was silent.
"Maybe you did," Ryder said. "I've seen you, you always have your hands all over her. She's never away from you for more than three seconds."
"I didn't." Nathan roared. "I know what I've done to my own girlfriend."
"Doubt it," Ryder said. "Case in point."
I heard the snarl erupt from Nathan's lips, and the trembles passing through as my body was vibrating in his arms. How I wish I had the energy to slap Ryder.
"She can't leave," Wesley said. "She's in too poor of condition, and she's at risk of being hurt further by you."
His trembles grew stronger, and I couldn't be the one to calm him down this time. All of these guys were complete idiots.
"Nathan," Carter paused. "They're right, she's in an awful state. Maybe she should rest here?"
"Fine, give us a room then," Nathan growled. "Give us fucking privacy."
"I'll give her a room, but not you." Wesley said. "When she wakes up, she needs to be calm, not scared for her life."
"No," Nathan groaned. "I'm not leaving her side."
"I don't want you in bed with her," Wesley stated. "You have no right after what you've done to her."
Nathan was shaking fiercely now, and Carter quickly stepped in, sensing the bomb he needed to defuse.
"Look Wes, he said it was an accident. Let him just settle Dyllon in bed, and then we can discuss the best course of action." Carter said. "Does that work?""Fine," Wesley snapped. "Follow me."
Nathan carried me back up the stairs, and I squinted my eyes open to see where I was. A non descript bedroom, with the curtains drawn, and the darkness masking everything in sight.
Nathan rested my body on the sofa, and I sunk into it, my eyes stained in tears, and my body pleading to be as far away from Nathan as it could be. But all I could do was close my eyes.
Nathan's P.O.V
Fuck Wesley, he had never been such an ass in his life.
"You can have the chair," Wesley smirked.
"Get out," I growled.
"I'll give you five minutes," Wesley muttered, and then left me with Dyllon.
What have I done? I looked down at Dyllon on the bed. I was still angry at her, I wanted to know who gave her that hickey, how could she let him? I'd get it out of her once she was better. Why did I have to take it so far this time? I rested my hand on her bruised cheek.
"I'm sorry," I whispered into her ear.
"Just tell me who did this, and I'll make him pay for it." I continued to whisper to her, hoping that she'd wake up and reply.I moved her hair out of the way and looked at the hickey. I ran my hand over hoping it would disappear. I kept pretending like I was erasing it each time I stroked it. It made me furious to think some guy put his hands and lips on Dyllon. She was mine.
