"What are you doing here?" Matt questioned. "I told you, I didn't want to see your face ever again."
"Nathan invited me to watch him play." I shrieked.
"Leave Nathan the hell alone," Matt yelled and moved in closer. "Or else."
"Leave me alone!" I hollered. Then Matt came in closer, and it looked like he was going to cuff his hand around my neck. I instantly slapped his hand away, and ran out the passenger side of the car. I ran around the corner, and up on the bleachers, trying to distance myself further and further away from this maniac.
"Come back here!" He screamed. I heard him slam the car door, and he came around to the bleachers. "You stupid girl, come down here!"
"Leave me alone, please!" I pleaded.
Honestly, I couldn't comprehend the vendetta he had against me.
"I'm just warning you, stay away from him, if you want to know what's best for you." Matt growled and then ran up the bleachers to the same set as I was on. I quickly ran down a few to get away from him.
"Just stay away from me then!" I called down at him, continuing to work my way further from him.
"Dyllon?" I heard Nathan call.
"Help!" I yelled hoping Nathan would hear and spot me out. "Please!"
With a feeling of instant relief, I saw Nathan come around the corner into my sight. I was so distracted, I didn't notice when I went to step down a set of bleachers, and instead tumbled, crashing hard down the stairs.
"Oh god, Dyllon!" Nathan gulped. "Are you okay?"
He ran up to me, and grabbed my hand. He was examining my body, searching for injuries. Fuck, I was just adding to my bruise count. My whole body shot out in pain, and I held back the tears.
"I'm fine," I lied. "Can we just go?"
"Here, can I at least carry you?" He asked. Before I could answer, he lifted me up and draped his jacket over me. I wasn't going to complain, my body was in excruciating pain and his jacket was warm and comforting.
"Why was Matt chasing you?" Nathan questioned.
"Why does he do anything that he does?" I frowned.
"I'm just trying to understand." Nathan said. "What happened in the mere minutes I was away?"
"He came into your car and started to threaten me, so I ran. I think I made the right decision moving away from him. Why does he keep telling me to stay away from you?"
"I don't know." Nathan said, shaking his head.
We reached the car, and Nathan set me down, and the from around the corner, Matthew approached.
"I need a ride," Matthew said, as if nothing had happened.
I shot Nathan a look that could kill. Absolutely not, my brain was screaming.
"Dyllon?" Nathan asked.
"Of course not," I yelped. "Are you crazy? I am not getting in a vehicle with him."
"I can't leave him behind," Nathan sighed. "Look Matt, leave her the fuck alone, at least for the next hour. Only way for you to get a ride home."
"Fine with me," Matthew said, like he had done nothing wrong. It was quite possible that he was Satan.
"Matt, you can have the back," Nathan gestured.
"No," Matthew said. "She can."
I didn't even bother arguing, what was the point?
