Dyllons P.O.V
"Isn't the moon so beautiful when it's full?" I asked, observing the sky. "It's like it's own little glowing light source when it's like this. It's honestly one of the most beautiful things, I wish it occurred more often."
Nathan looked up and froze, his grip tightened around me, and I couldn't breathe.
"Nathan," I groaned. "Oww, Nathan, you're hurting me. Please, let, go of me. Nathan, please, that really hurts."
Nathan's grip tightened further around my waist and at this point I couldn't get any words out at all. His grip was cutting off my circulation. I tried to jut out of his arms, but his grip was stone tight, and then I felt his nails dig into my back, and a sharp piercing pain shot through my backside, as if knives had pierced the skin and I screamed in pain like I never had before.
I tried to thrash in his arms, and the pain continued to spread up my back, and stung as it felt like it was going deeper. I cried out in pain, and used all my will to elbow Nathan in his gut. He dropped me to the ground, and I quickly tried to recover, but he tackled me before I could regain my composure. He let out a loud roar, and howled.
I looked up at him hovering over me, his arms pinning mine to the ground, and his eyes were pitch black, and he was barring his teeth. What the fuck was happening? I tried to squirm further, but each time, the pain in my back was amplified. I lifted my knee to his chest, but in response he slapped me across the face, and my cheek burned from the pressure of his hand. Instantly tears stained my face, and I tried to catch my breath and gain the ability to scream for help.
Nathan was looking around, maintaining his stance hovering over me and in a moment of his weak grip, I quickly pulled my arms out from under him, and crossed them over my face to protect myself. He snarled at my defence tactic, and he started clawing at my clothes, tearing through my cardigan, and beginning to claw at my jeans.
"Get the fuck off of me!" I screamed.
In response, his nails dug into my skin, and each time he clawed at me, it felt like daggers were being dragged across my skin, opening new surfaces for blood to stream out. With all my remaining strength, I kneed Nathan in the face, and as he stumbled backwards, I got up and ran. I ran like my life depended on it. I had no idea where we were, and I chose a random direction, praying that this was they way to humanity. My body throbbed in pain, and my body was begging for me to stop. But I couldn't. I couldn't stop. Nathan had become an actual psychopath within a span of minutes. What the fuck was actually happening?
I kept sprinting, and I jerked back in pain when I got stuck.
"No! No, no!" I cried. My camisole was stuck on a low hanging tree branch, and I pulled as hard as I could to unlatch my camisole from the branch, but instead it took away the bottom portion and I had no time to dwell on it.
My body was actively fighting against me, as I tripped and stumbled continuously on the fallen branches and bark on the forest ground. I heard a loud growl behind me, and the sounds of running from behind me, and quickly dove behind a bunch of knocked down trees that were beginning to decay.
I took a moment to look down at my arms and legs, and grimaced at the bark that was lodged in my skin, my body covered in gashes, and my back ached from the deep cuts that laced it. What on earth had I done to trigger Nathan? Why the fuck was he so angry, and was I running from a serial killer? I actually couldn't believe it because there was no explanation at all for it. I tried to calm my breathing, I couldn't think of this right now. The more I panicked, the most I hyperventilated, and the more my breath picked up.
I tried to shift my crouched position to give me a better advantage, but my back was throbbing and I couldn't ignore the pain any longer. I moaned in pain as it pressed against the tree, and I tried to keep any further noise to a minimum, but I couldn't prevent the tears from streaming down my face.
