"Please," I begged.

"Please, what?" He quipped.

"Please let me leave."

"For someone who usually has quite a mouthful to say, you're ever so polite this evening." He replied. "But here's the thing Dyllon, there's no hiding behind your master this evening."

Without warning, he guided me out of the room. His hand was wrapped securely around my arm, ensuring that I couldn't move an inch from his side or sight. I could begin to feel the tears welling in my eyes, and I desperately tried to hold them back, but my body was already betraying me and the panic was rising. I tried to pay attention to my surroundings, but it was dark hallway after dark hallway, endlessly looking the same. I could that he was trying to confuse me, and ensure that I had no sense of direction or place. As he continued to rush me around corners, and halls, we passed by several voices from rooms around us, low screams and pleasurable moans, all mixed together to make my skin crawl.

He rapidly shoved my body into a new room, and I quickly try to make sense of my surroundings. The dim light from the crack beneath the door allowed me to make out that the room was covered in dark stones, black tiling beneath my feet, a damp smell to the entire room, and in the centre of the room, a single chair.

"Sit." He commanded and I immediately obeyed. I sank my body into the chair, my bare skin colliding with the metal of the seat, causing my skin to cover itself in goosebumps.

"Did Nathan really think sending you here would be enough for me to forgive your disobedience?" He chuckled, his eyes heightening with excitement, and his grin is spreading across his face. It became immediately clear that whatever has had in store for me this evening, this was only just the beginning.

"He's so desperate to have everyone on his side," he continued. "But doesn't realize that many of us aren't."

I tried to silently lift myself out of the seat, but his hands immediately slammed down on my shoulders, anchoring me in the spot.

"Do you know what comes with an alliance?" He prompted, and I shook my head weakly. "Rules. Rules and restrictions. Restrictions that do not pertain to my best interests, but that is a discussion for another time when I am re-negotiating with your boyfriend, or rather letting him know how things will be progressing forward whether he likes it or not."

I nodded in agreement, hoping that this would cut his educational talk short, and that perhaps he would decide all was forgiven, and I was merely caught up in this unfortunate series of events.

"And do you know what happens when people keep secrets from me?" He asked, the pressure of his grip increasing on my shoulders. "More harm than needed."

I let out a faint cry, and he increased his hold, cutting into my shoulders with his nails.

"Bring him out." He snapped.

I immediately snapped my head upwards to see a man entering the room, dragging with him another body that was fighting desperately against his grips. The body continued to struggle, and their was covered with a burlap sack, their hands and legs chained with thick metal encasings, but they continued to thrash persistently against their captor's hold.

"What - what is this?" I finally managed to speak.

"I'm going to leave Nathan with a little reminder of what happens when he chooses to cross me and more so, allows those under his jurisdiction to do the same."

"Please," I whimpered. "I honestly have nothing to do with this."

I tried to bolt from the seat, but his hands kept me in place.
