Dyllon's P.O.V

The light shone in into my dark holding space. I quickly got up, and stood against the wall. I noticed Ryder's face was still bruised and fresh blood was streaming down. While it would cure in hours, it was still alarming to see the damage they were able to inflict on one another.

"What do you want?" My voice shook, and then I cleared it out. I wanted answers and now. "Tell me what is going on. What the hell are you guys doing to Nathan?"

Ryder came closer, and I could feel his cool breath on my neck. I saw his eyes travel down my body slowly, him and his stupid night vision. I was about to punch his stomach, but his hand caught mine.

"Don't even try," he smirked. His eyes then rested on my neck.

"Well your hickey's not there anymore," I smirked back.

"A shame," he replied. "But it served it's purpose."

He put his hand on my neck, and then ripped away the necklace Nathan had given me, scraping my neck in the process. I stayed silent, scared by the strength of his pull. He had broken the chain that held it together, and I saw as he observed the sapphire sitting in his palm.

"You won't be needing this anymore," Ryder grinned. "But I do."

He took the broken chain, the shining jewel and slid it into his pocket. Why did he need my necklace?

Ryder then left and shut the door again. There had to be a way out of here! They had thrown me in here, so I looked up at the door. The room had stairs, but they weren't stupid enough to make an easy to break out of door. I went up the stairs to examine the door, and traced my hands down and felt for small grooves and ridges that might allow me to find a way out. Metal. Pure metal. Would it be possible for me to pick the lock?

Nathan's P.O.V

They had all left, and gone somewhere, but I had no idea where. I knew they had taken Dyllon out that door, but it was impossible to break through, even with my strength. I looked up and they had removed the ladder going up.

I went to the door they had taken Dyllon through, and thought maybe she'd hear me.

"Dyllon," I called and then thought about Ryder. "DYLLON! DYLLON!" I yelled at the top of my lungs.

There was no answer. I was about to punch the wall, when Ryder and Cayden appeared from a different door on the opposite side of the room.

"That's not going to do anything," Ryder snarled. "What didn't you understand about soundproof? Juan is running late, so then we can get down to business a bit later and then we'll easily just let you leave, and with Dyllon."

I ignored them, and clenched my fists together.

"Where is she?" I groaned. "I want to see her,"

"She's around," Ryder snickered. "No further harm will come to her, if you just agree to our terms and conditions."

"Fuck off," I roared.

"Soon you won't be able to talk to us like that," Ryder snarled.

"No one said I was handing over the power," I snarled. "If my family notices that I'm missing, they'll know who to come after."

"Do you really think so? Maybe they are giving you time to cool off from your big tough decision,"

"I can have Dyllon and the power," I snapped.

"Explain to me how exactly that would work," Ryder smirked. "Seeing as we haven't given you that as an option."

"I'll take Dyllon at my side, as queen,"
