Chapter 12 - Hangovers

Ellie's POV

It was the morning after the party, I didn't sleep at all last night. I hated it when the boys got drunk and they knew it scared me.

Beau broke his promise of staying with me and Jai got drunk even though he was trying not to. I didn't sleep at all, all I could hear was shouting and fighting until the early hours of the morning. It really scared me, my brothers weren't my brothers when they were drunk, they turned into completely different people.

I looked at my phone for the time, it was 10am. I'm guessing they all have hangovers, I walked out into the hallway. Suddenly the mess hit me, there was rubbish everywhere and the furniture was all over the place. Mum would be so angry if she saw it like this. As I walked into the lounge I saw Jai and skip collapsed on the sofas, James was laid next to them but he was on the floor. I went into the twins room, Luke and Beau were laid next to each other on the bottom bunk. I'm guessing they couldn't get up the ladder to the top. They looked really drunk like they were properly passed out.

I didn't know what to do with myself, I was getting freaked out because the mess and the fact that the boys were all hungover.

I decided to try and wake one of them up. I tried Jai because he was always the least moody when it came to things like this.

I walked into his room. I leaned over Beau because Jai was against the wall. I gently shook him and he let out a massive groan.

"Jai" I whispered.

He eventually opened his eyes and looked up at me, he didn't actually seem that drunk.

"You okay?" He asked.

"Everyone's drunk and the house is a mess" I panicked.

"Woah calm down" he whispered, because Beau was still passed out.

He climbed over Beau, being careful not to wake him, he came and hugged me, his arms wrapped around me tightly.

"I'm not drunk, I only had a few shots, I just stayed with Beau because he looked really rough" Jai said softly.

Jai has this weird effect on me where he could instantly calm me. As he pulled away I looked over at Beau, he looked really rough. Jai was a good little brother to be looking after him.

Jai walked through to the lounge and I followed him.

When we got in there the boys were still on the sofas, they didn't look like they were gonna move anytime soon.

"Wanna go out for a bit?" Jai asked me.

"Sure" I said "I'll go get ready".

I went into my room witch was the only tidy part of the house that was tidy. I went over to my wardrobe and put in some black jeans and a 5SOS top as k couldn't be bothered to shower. I quickly brushed my hair and shoved it into a messy bun, I couldn't be bothered to do anything with it. I then quickly did my makeup, I kept it simple and quick. Finally I chucked on my black converse and a dirty pig sweater as I still had scars.

I went out towards the front door to see Jai sat on his phone waiting for me.

"That was quick" Jai laughed.

"I guess" I giggled.

Jai's POV

I wanted to get Ellie out the house for a bit, the boys could get up and sort themselves out while we were gone. I knew that it freaked her out when the boys were drunk. I didn't get drunk last night for that reason.

We got the train to Melbourne central because I can't drive. When we got on the train we sat down and before we knew it we were in Melbourne central.
