Chapter 81- cheated

Ellie's POV

**2 days later**

Luke's better now, we were relieved that there was nothing badly wrong with him.

I was in my room, it was like 9pm and I got a text that changed shocked me, Cali had texted me saying she had seen Nate kissing another girl, my heart stopped as I stared at the phone screen, how could he, why would he do that to me. I opened up the picture attached, there he was with another girl.

I instantly started to silently cry, as the tears fell down my face, I threw my phone across the room in anger.

I then collapsed onto my bed and cried into my pillow, I didn't understand why he would do this, I didn't even know how to feel in that moment.

A few minutes later I heard someone knock on my door, I didn't look up, I was hiding the fact that I was crying.

It was silent for a while then I heard the door open, someone walked over to me and sat on my bed, rubbing my back a bit.

"Are you crying?" The voice I now recognised as Luke asked.

I didn't answer I just buried my head further into the pillow.

"What's going on?" He asked concerned as he rubbed my back a bit more.

I moved away from him and curled into a little ball, I guess he figured I was crying because he turned me over and I reluctantly looked at him with sad eyes.

Once he saw my tear stained face he laid down and pulled into a hug I cried into him as he comforted me, he pulled me onto his chest and I just let everything out, I was heart broken.

Luke's POV

I was so confused, I came to ask Ellie if she wanted any dinner but instead I found her crying, I didn't know why she was crying, but she seemed pretty upset.

I pulled her onto my chest and let her cry, I put my arm around her and held her close to me.

"What's wrong?" I asked her again.

I heard her take a deep breath, "n-nate c-cheated on m-m-me" she stuttered through her cries.

"HE WHAT" I yelled angry, how could he do that to my baby sister.

"Please don't yell" she cried into me trying to stop me from getting up.

I sighed before taking her into a tight hug, I was so angry at him, I wanted to go and just beat him up right there and then but El was too sad.

She must be heart broken, she loved nate and he helped her get through everything, it was all going so well as well.

"Why does it always happen to me Luke?" She croaked through her cries as she clung onto me.

"Bad stuff happens to everyone" I tried to assure her.

She sat up and pushed me away forcefully, i looked at her in shock, next thing I knew she got up and smashed the glass on the floor next to her bed, she then started destroying her room, kicking everything and knocking everything over, before I could do anything Beau ran in and looked at her wide eyed.
