Chapter 60- Nonna

Beaus POV

I woke up to the sound of crying and whimpering, then a scream came.

I quickly shot up, my first thought was Ellie, but I looked up and she was sleeping peacefully. I looked to my side to see my 18 year old brother Jai thrashing around, screaming, obviously scared.

"Jai" I said as I tried to shake him awake.

"No you can't leave me" he yelled, pain in his voice.

"It's me beau, your safe jai, I won't leave you" I said firmly as I shook him.

Luke and Ellie were awake now, watching the scene with fear in their eyes.

"Jai Jai, come on wake up" I said raising my voice.

He was still thrashing around, short of breath, gasping for air.

"Jai" Luke yelled.

Suddenly his eyes shot open and he sat up gasping for breath, looking around at us and then bursting into tears.

"Jai, your okay I'm here" I said as I took him into a bone crushing hug.

"It was so real" he sobbed into my shoulder.

"Bring him in the bed" Luke mumbled sadly and him and Ellie moved over, making space.

I slowly lifted my little brother up and placed him next to Luke, Ellie was the other side of Luke.

I pulled him into my chest, as we laid down, he sobbed into my chest for a while, Luke rubbed his back comfortingly.

"What was so real?" I asked him once he had calmed down.

"I replayed mums c-crash" he stuttered, tearing up.

"Jai-jai your safe now, it was just a dream" I said reassuringly.

"It's just a night mare, everyone gets them" Luke comforted his twin.

"I'm scared" he said so innocently, I don't think I've ever heard or seen jai this frightened, normally he's fearless, it must have been one scary nightmare.

"We're gonna stay right here okay" I assured him, tightening my grip on him.

"Okay" he mumbled.

Luke's POV

Jais nightmare has shaken us all up a bit, I was currently rubbing Jais back while Beau comforted him.

After a while I rolled over to face Ellie, she had tears in her eyes, I sighed as i climbed over her and pushed her in between me and Jai, she snuggled up against Jais back. I then cuddled in close with my siblings and pulled the covers over us.

"Wanna try and sleep" Beau asked Jai after a while.

Jai rapidly shook his head and he tears up again.

"Hey we'll be right here okay" Beau said.

He rolled him over to face me and Ellie, before hugging him from behind, and pulling him into him that way.

Ellie moved herself closer to Jai, its like we were building a little wall around him.

"I feel so stupid" jai whimpered out of nowhere.

"We don't think your stupid" Ellie whispered back, clearly about to fall asleep.

"Nightmares and fears are normal, there your brains way of expressing how you feel deep
Inside" she added, getting quieter towards the end.
