Chapter 32- telling mum

Jai's POV

I went to find Beau, I walked into the lounge to find him on the couch watching the tv.

"Mums on her way home" he said, bluntly.

"Really Beau, why did you do that?" I asked in an annoyed tone.

"It really upset me, she felt like she couldn't tell me" Beau said.

"Imagine how she feels then, and how is she meant to tell you if you react like this!" I said, as if it was obvious.

"Cause I'm her brother" he shrugged.

"Beau, she's crying right now, did you even see her face when you came in, she was scared of you" I said as i raised my voice.

"DONT TELL ME THAT SHES SCARED OF ME" he yelled as he stood up.

"ITS THE TRUTH" I shouted in his face.

"FUCK OFF" Beau yelled, he sat back down on the couch.

"Wow some brother you are" I murmured as I left the room.

I went back to Ellie and Luke who where still on my bed. Ellie was doing something on her phone and Luke was in his laptop, they were cuddled up together. I went and sat the other side of her.

"Beau said mums on her way home" I said, scanning Ellie's face for a reaction.

She sighed.

"El, she'll understand" Luke assured her.

"Okay, is Beau mad at me?" she said quietly.

"No, he's just upset" I answered.

"I'm really nervous" she said, I could feel her shacking.

"Kiddo, don't be me and Jai will help you explain" Luke said, as he rubbed her back.

Beaus POV

I had called mum, I wasn't annoyed at Ellie I was just really upset that she had done it again.

Mum came running through the door to me where I was sitting watching tv.

"What happened?" She said as she was panicking.

I stood up and tried to calm her down, "sit down" I said as I pointed to the couch, she did and she looked up at me waiting for an answer.

"Mum, Ellie's been self harming" I said, really quietly.

I looked up to see her eyes filling with tears.

"What, for how long?" She asked.

"A while" I said.

"And you didn't tell me?" She asked, a hint of anger in her voice.

"Well Jai is the one who knows the most" I said, totally dropping Jai into it.

"This is serious Beau" she said, crossing her arms.

"That's why I told you" I said, defending myself.

"Where is she?" Mum asked bluntly.

"Luke and Jai's room with them" I told her.

"I'll go see her" she sighed.

"I'll come" I said as I got up and followed her to the twins room.
