Ellie's POV

I wanted to go home, so bad. I was just scared that they would be angry at me.

I couldn't do this anymore, I was being so selfish right now, I decided to just make my way home, and face them.

I got on the bus, and trudged up the hill to our house, my heart quickening, knowing what I would come back too wouldn't be good.

I stood before the gate, scared as crap. I reluctantly pushed the buzzer and tensed nervously as I looked to my feet.

Suddenly I heard a faint yell, "El" I made out.

Suddenly two boys came sprinting up the driveway, I recognised them instantly as Luke and Jai.

My hands become sweaty as my heart started pounding out of my chest, they threw themselves up the drive, running as fast as there legs could carry them.

When they got to the top Jai swung the gate open, collapsing onto me and bringing his arms around my body. He clung onto me leaning his head onto my shoulder.

Then Luke joined the hug, I didn't know how to feel I thought they would be more angry then this, I mean maybe they are still mad.

"Never ever do that again" Jai croaked into me, he sounded so tired, that made me feel bad.

I didn't say anything.

I just let Luke pick me up, he's probably scared I'm gonna run away again or something.

Luke rubbed my back as he carried me down the driveway, it was a fairly long drive, I peaked up to see an exhausted looking Jai running his hand through his hair frustratingly, following behind.

I leaned my head on Luke, I didn't want to face the reality, I felt so guilty.

I felt the temperature change and we came into the house, it had an eerie quiet feel, different to the normal fun vibes.

I flinched as Luke yelled, "BOYS COME HERE".

I heard some footsteps come down the stairs, my head still on Luke.

"ELLIE" I heard beaus voice yell as I felt him come behind and hug me and Luke.

Beaus POV

I didn't know what to think or say, Luke put her down and I just brought her into my arms, I'm never going to let her go again, ever.

"At least your safe" I mumbled into her.

She tightened her grip on me, I was still angry, I realised this morning she stole money from me as well.

Skip and James disappeared probably leaving us to deal with this mess.

I pulled away, deciding I needed to be serious for once in my life.

I sighed as I lifted her chin so she was forced to make eye contact with me.

"Never ever do that again" I stated, so seriously.

She just gulped and looked down, I sighed as I put my hand on her back and led her to the couch where she removed her backpack and sat down quietly, me and Luke sat either side and Jai on the coffee table in front of the couch.

"What where you thinking" Luke started.

"I wasn't" she mumbled, playing with her hands.

"And you stole from me" I said getting annoyed.
