Chapter 25- sunrise (part 1)

Ellie's POV

I couldn't sleep, it was like 5am and I hadn't got one second of sleep yet. I was really tired but my body just wouldn't sleep, ugh I hate insomnia.

I got out of bed and went into the lounge, someone must of heard me because I heard someone walking into the lounge.

I was sat on the couch, I saw Luke walk into the room, he sat down next to me.

"Couldn't sleep?" He asked me.

"Nope" I said as I shook my head.

"Me neither" he said.

"Why can't you sleep?" I asked him.

"I don't know, I'm just thinking, you?" He asked me.

"I don't know either" I said.

Luke put his arm round me, he rubbed my back as he hugged me.

"Hey Ellie, wanna go and see the sunrise?" Luke asked me.

"What?" I asked, I didn't know if he was serious or not.

"I need a new LukePOV picture for Instagram, and it's cool I go and watch it sometimes" he said.

"Okay" I agreed, I just went along with him.

"Go get ready, front door in 5 mins" he said as he walked off.

I went into my room and got ready, I put some skinny joggers on and a hoodie, I then chucked my trainers on and went to meet Luke by the front door.

"Ready?" He whispered.

"Yeah" I whispered back.

"Let's go" he smiled, as he put his canon camera around his neck and opened the front door.

I didn't know where we were going I just followed Luke, he looked like he knew where he was going, it made me wonder how often he does this.

We didn't really talk on the way, it was just a comfortable silence, after walking for like 10 minutes we were round the back of our street on this field.

"Where are we actually going?" I finally asked Luke.

He pointed up a to a hill.

"What" I moaned.

"Come on" he said as he grabbed my hand and pulled me up.

"Ugh" I moaned.

"It's with it" he said, still pulling me.

When we eventually got to the top I could see what he meant, the view was amazing. We had just caught the sunrise. Luke was taking pictures at every possible angle, he was going crazy.

I sat down on a rock while I waited for him to finish, when he was done he came and sat next to me. He put his arm round me.

We sat there for a while just staring at it, I could see our house at the bottom of the hill.

"Thankyou" I said to Luke, breaking the silence.
