Chapter 20 - the movies

Ellie's POV

I was woke up by a really long bang, I was in my room, I looked at my phone and it said it was 4am. Ugh what now, I wearily got up and walked through to the lounge, 2 of my brothers and skip were all drunk, Luke was passed out on the floor, skip was just sat on the couch with a beer in his hand, beau was in the kitchen, there was a broken glass and water all over the floor, that must have been what that bang was.

"Beau" I said, cautiously, they really scared me when they were drunk.

"Hey El" he slurred.

"Do you want me to clean it up for you?" I asked.

"Yeah, Thankyou" he slurred.

"Are you okay?" I asked him.

"Can you help me get to my room" he asked.

"Sure" I said, I went over to him and took hold of his arm, he leaned on to me and I guided him to his room.

When we got to his room he collapsed straight onto his bed, he was out like that, he started snoring like he normally does. I carefully took his shoes off and then I put a blanket over him and turned out the light.

I went back into the lounge, Luke was asleep on the floor and Skip was on the couch. I put blankets over them both, I then went into the kitchen and cleaned up Beaus mess, I was really carful not to cut myself on the glass.

I didn't want to wake Jai up, he wasn't talking to Beau yet either so it would just be awkward for him. I just went back to bed and tried to get back to sleep.

*skip to morning*

Jai's POV

I woke up around 10am, I got out of bed and went to get some breakfast. As I was walking to the kitchen tripped over Luke, he was lying or the floor.

"OWWW" Luke yelled.

"Sorry bro" I said, I rubbed my eyes because I was still tired.

"Why are you on the floor?" I questioned him laughing.

"We got really drunk last night" Luke said as he sat up.

"Oh okay" I said.

I helped him too stand up, he then walked back to our room probably to go to sleep again.

I walked past the lounge, skip was still asleep on the couch, beau was probably in his room. I went into the kitchen and made myself some cereal. I sat on the kitchen table scrolling Twitter as I ate.

Ellie walked in, she had her hair in a messy bun and was wearing some trackies and one of my old baggy shirts, I found it so cute when she wore out cloths.

"Morning" I said, I smiled up at her.

"Morning" she said back, she got herself some cereal and say down at the table with me.

"Where's mum?" She asked me, she had texted me last night saying she had the overnight shift.

"She'll be back soon, she'll probably sleep as soon as she get in though" I told her.

"Okay" Ellie said.

"Have you seen Beau" I asked her.

"Yeah I helped him to his room last night, he smashed a glass so I cleaned it up" she explained.

"Oh" I simply said.

"Are you gonna make up with him soon?" She asked me.

"If he apologises" I stated, honestly.

I don't think there's any chance of that happening any time soon.

"Can't you just make up, for me, please" she begged me.

"Not yet" I said, I've got to admit she was very convincing.

"Whatever" she shrugged, she had obviously given up on getting us to makeup.

"I'm gonna go check on Luke" I said, I got up and I put my bowl in the sink.

I walked through the house to mine and Luke's room, he was asleep, I decided to ring James and do something with him because nothing interesting was happening round here.

I grabbed my jacket and my phone, as I was walking to the door Ellie stopped me.

"We're are you going?" She asked.

"Too See James" I said.

"What your just gonna leave me here with 3 hungover people" she moaned.

She had a point.

"Come with me then" I said.

"Okay, 5 minutes I'll go get ready" she said as she ran up the stairs.

"Be quick" I called up after her. I went and sat on the kitchen counter while I waited for her.

I waited 5 minutes and she still wasn't down.

"ELLIE" I shouted.

"Coming" she said, she came running down the stairs.

"You took your time" I said.

"Sorry" she giggled.

We walked out the house, we were going to walk to James house and then go somewhere from there.

"We're are we going then?" Ellie asked me.

"James' house, then we can go somewhere with him" I explained.

"Okay" she said.

When we got to James house, we went to the train station, we got the next train into Melbourne central.

"Wanna go to the movies?" James asked us.

"Sure" I said.

"What's on?" James asked.

I got my phone out and looked at my phone.

"There all 18's, Ellie say your 18 okay?"

"Umm Jai your 17 and I'm only 15" she said as if it was obvious.

"So?" I asked her.

"Well they won't let us in" she said.

"Just act confident" I told her, she nodded, I was practically and expert and sneaking into places underage.

Ellie's POV

When we got to the cinema surprisingly we all got in, James and Jai wanted to watch this really scary film so I had no choice but to watch it too.

We went in and sat down, James was on the end, and then Jai, then me.

I spent the whole film hiding behind Jai because it was really scary, every time a scary part would come up he would pull me close into him. I practically spent the whole film hiding behind Jai, when it was done we decided to go straight home, James had to go home.

When we got in mum was making dinner, Luke was in the lounge, skip has probably gone home and I don't know where Beau was.
