Jesus, Monday morning came too early... whoever came up with the invention of Mondays has a slow burn in a pit of hated of Mondays in Hell, for... like, ever. Never getting out. I stretched, waking naturally at six in the bloody morning. I grabbed my phone, placing it on "no sound at all or I will personally throw this dumb phone to a wall if it dares ring in class again", they have that setting now... no, they don't. I pulled on a pair of jeans, not really caring that I looked horrible... maybe I do... I pulled on a black camisole over myself and sighed, this happens every morning... this is why I hate myself, but I know that nothing good will come from it, so I just leave it, hoping I'll just... not notice... I pulled on my dark blue sweater, on the sleeves white and blue ran thick stripes up my arms till my shoulders. I smiled, knowing everyone would hate me to look like this, knowing that I couldn't care any less, when I wear this or anything else, I can just think of Doctor Who and be strong again. The long sleeves covered my hands as I grabbed my book bag, it was a worn out green book bag, but it was a tasteful green, a bit light moss, or worn army pants, something about the colour made me all happy, even for so early in the morning. I placed my bag down in my bathroom and pulled a brush through my hair before wrapping it into a knot and pinning my hair comb through it. I never have my hair down at school, I can stand the way it makes me feel, long hair, short squash body... no thanks. I grabbed a granola bar for lunch and an apple for breakfast. Usually mom would be saying I should eat more, she's not awake yet. I grabbed my car keys and I walked through the light rain to my dark blue pick up. I drove for a short while till I saw my school. It wasn't anything special, it's like, fourth best school in Washington, I only learned this a couple months ago after surfing the web. I parked my car pretty far away, not wanting to deal with other people. As I got out a motorcycle nearly killed me! Him zooming past and parking right next to my car! I sighed, don't want to deal with people? They park right beside you... dick... he pulled off his helmet, small blonde corkscrew curls popped up a few places, his baby blue eyes looked me up and down. He was, like, a foot taller than me. I shook my head and began to walk away. "Hey, wait." His voice... he sounded like he was trying to seduce me. But then again, not possible. I stopped in my tracks. "I'm new here, could you help me to the office?" He said, getting closer, sort of like shuffling over. "... fine. But hurry, I have to talk to some teachers." I said grabbing my book bag and beginning to speed walk, well, Gina says I speed walk, I just walk at a pace I like when I'm here. "Hey, hold up Baby doll." I stiffened, why must people, guys, use such terms of endearment? I looked at him and shook my head, but I did slow down. "So, were did you live before coming here?" I asked as we walked the parking lot, me now regretting parking so far away. He chuckled a little bit, "a beautiful place near Paris. I could show you sometime." I shook my head, "Paris isn't really my scene. But thanks for the offer." I said with a polite smile, but dropped it immediately, knowing how ugly I looked when I would smile. "Really? The shopping malls? The romantic sunsets? I thought that was every girl's scene." I shook my head, "no, my scene is more... London on a dreary day, or here when it's just turning Autumn or Winter." I said as he opened the door for me, "oh, uh, thanks. Good to know chivalry isn't dead." I said and walked through, everyone saw us, "there's the office. Go nuts." I said and he smiled just a bit, "I already knew where it was, I just wanted an excuse to talk to you." I felt my cheeks heat up, "well, you could sit at my table, it's over there, usually... Gina would be there..." I said, he picked up on my worry, "what happened to your friend?" He asked, "I'll probably tell you at lunch. I'm Sam, by the way." I said and he gave a smirk, "Warren."

I got to school, smelling instantly two things, Sam, and that vamp. I walked through and saw him checking Sam out as she had her back turned to walk into an odd placed classroom. He saw me and walked away. I took out my schedule and looked for the classroom for my first period. I walked the same way Sam did. "Right, thanks Mr. Green, I'll see you in, like, twenty minutes." I heard Sam say and she ran right into me. "Whoa, sorry." She said and looked up. She looked sort of surprised. "Oh, hey David." She said and patted my shoulder before walking away. I looked back to her, she disappeared within two seconds! I heard a door open and shut. I turned to the other side and saw her there in a different classroom. God, she's quick and light on her feet. I followed her about for another five seconds before I heard her. "A biology project?" She sighed, "thanks Miss P. I'll see you later." "See you soon Sammy." She exited, "oh, hey David." "Hey Sweetheart." She blushed and cleared her throat, turning away, "right, what's up?" She asked, knowing I was following her after she decided to walk away. "I'm looking for the biology room." I said, "oh, well, follow me my good sir, I'm heading over there right now." She said and I smiled, I saw my brother, he was listening to his music, I could hear it from here, "he could ruin his ears like that." Sam sighed, but she didn't go up to him and tell him. I went over to him and yanked them out. "Dude, turn that crap down." I said and he hit my shoulder lightly, "says the runt of the litter." Ian said, I looked over to Sam, she was watching us, "Sweetheart, come here." She blushed and sighed, "seriously, stop it with that name." She muttered, "hi, I'm Sam." Ian smiled over to me and then to her. "I hope my baby brother isn't giving you too much trouble." He said and gave a suggestive wink. She shuddered and shook her head, "naw man, just going to show him the biology room." He nodded, "I'll let you kids get to it then." With that, he walked away, chuckling slightly.
