Chapter 16

Jinxx

"Because I love you!" She said.

"You-you love me?"

We remained silent for a while.

She loves me. I thought.

"Carolyn, is it true?"

"Mhmm." She said in a whisper. "Jeremy, I miss you."

"I miss you too babe."

"Can I please come back on tour with you guys?"

"Babe, you need the money, and you love your job so much."

"I know, but, being with you makes me happier."

"Carolyn, I'll be home in a couple weeks. Then we can go on that vacation I was telling you about last week."

"Okay."

"Hey, I'll say it too. I've been meaning to since you left. I love you."

I heard her sniffle a little. "I love you."

I heard her yawn through the phone.

"Get some sleep babe. You need it."

"Okay. I love you."

"I love you too."

I hung up and set my phone at the foot of my bunk. I laid back down on my bed. I closed my eyes and imagined Carolyn in my arms as I drifted off into a deep dream filled sleep.

Huston Texas was our last day. Making our way to the Kia Forte stage, fans would shout to us.

"I love you Andy!"

"Fuck me Ashley!"

"CC your a drumming god!"

"Jake teach me how to play guitar!"

"Jinxx please play the violin for us today!"

Fans would shout so many things to us. Some screamed as we passed them, and some shouted things to us. It's always amazing to meet the fans. That's our goal. To meet every fan of our band. We got back stage and I went to get my guitar. I talked to one of the crew members when to hand me my violin during the set.

"Two minutes!" Another crew member said.

"Hands in!" Andy said.

Jake, Ash and I threw our guitar straps over our shoulders. I threw my hand in.

"Warped Tour on three!" Andy yelled.

"One, Two, Three, WARPED TOUR!"

We waited behind the stage. CC ran out and settled behind his drum kit. Jake and I ran out next. I ran to my side of the stage and stood on the platform on the stage and threw my fist in the air like all the other shows. The screams got louder when Ash and Andy ran onto the stage.
