I grabbed the last few things on my bed and packed them in the still opened box.

"I can't believe that my baby is leaving the nest!"

I turned to the door to see Myra.

"God, please don't act like a fucking mother." I groaned.

"I'm sorry! But it feels like yesterday that I found you lost on campus. Don't you remember I took you under my wing and the girls and I helped you with what happened before you came here. And now you have someone who is willing to take care of you for the rest of your life!"

She helped me carry the remaining boxes out to Jeremy's car that I'm borrowing today. Man, I really need to buy a car now. We got the rest of the boxes in the back seat. I gave Myra one last hug before climbing into the driver's seat and drove away.

I pulled into Jeremy's spot and parked the car. I carried each box into the apartment alone.

Jeremy had a photo shoot today with the guys, then they were going to finish up on the main idea for the movie they are planing to make for the album. They were hiring the actors and extras today.

I put most of the boxes in Jeremy and I's room, and the rest in the guest room. Two hours later, I had everything put away in either our room, our shared closet, or the guest bedroom's closet. I fell onto the bed and sighed. I cuddled with Jeremy's pillow and started to drift off to sleep. That is, until I heard the front door open not long after.

"Carolyn?" Jeremy's voice rang through the house.

I heard the door open and the light to the hallway poured into the bedroom. I heard Jeremy walk over to the edge of the bed, and the part of the bed near my waist dipped down. Jeremy's rough fingertips brushed away the loose strands of my hair off my face. I felt his soft lips kiss my forehead.

"Get some sleep babe. And when you wake up, I'll make dinner for us."

I smiled a little as he stood up and left the room. Soon enough, I felt my world go into a dreamless sleep.

~~~~~~~
I woke up and checked to time. 7:08 PM.
"Wow" I thought. "I slept for a while. Almost four hours."
I climbed out of bed and into the living room. I climbed onto the couch and curled into Jeremy's chest. He wrapped an arm around me.
"How was your nap?" He asked.
"Okay." I told him. "But I think you needed that nap more."
He shook his head. "You know I have crippling insomnia."
"Exactly. You can't sleep. Which is why you needed that nap more than me."
He rolled his eyes.
"Don't do that!" I smacked his chest.
"Don't do what?" He laughed.
"Rolling your eyes! God! You know I hate when people do that!"
He chuckled a little and kissed the top of my head.
"I'll go and make us something for dinner."
He stood up from his seat and made his way into the kitchen.
~~~~~~~

I woke up screaming and in tears. The nightmares came back. I held my legs close to my chest and wrapped my arms around them. I felt another pair of arms wrap around me, pulling my body close to theirs. Jeremy pulled me onto his lap, kissing the side of my head.

"Shh. Shh. Shh." Jeremy tried to calm me down. "Its okay. Its okay. You're safe. You're safe. I'm here. Its just a dream. Its all over. You're okay."

He ran his fingers through my hair, playing with the shorter strands. I played with the hem on the bottom of his shirt, a thing I've grown to do to comfort myself. Jeremy rested his chin on top of my head. He rocked us back and forth, quietly humming while calming me down.

"You feeling better?" He asked me.

I nodded my head.

"Do you want to talk about it?"

I shook my head. It was to much for me, I can't even think about it without breaking down into tears. He picked me up bridal style and carried me into the kitchen. He set me down on the counter and grabbed a mug from one of the cupboards and filled the mug with water. He put the mug in the microwave and took it out a minute later, the mug and water hot. He then added a tea bag and some honey. He handed the warm mug to me and I smiled, taking the mug with both hands and taking a sip, letting the warm liquid warm up my body. I looked up to be met by tired baby blue eyes. Jeremy sat on the bar stool next to where I was sitting on the counter. He gently rubbed the exposed skin on my thigh, keeping his eyes looked on me. I finished the tea and set the mug down next to me. I yawned and closed my eyes. Jeremy got up and set the mug in the sink before picking me up bridal style again and carried me back into our bedroom. He gently laid me down on the bed before climbing in himself and pulled the covers over us. He pulled me close to his chest and kissed my head.

"That tea should help you sleep a little longer." He said and kissed my head again.

I nodded my head, keeping my eyes closed. I cuddled more into Jeremy's chest and fell back asleep.
